  1. I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going
  2. Googled that one Hahaha, not that not interested He just forgot Voldemorts name
  3. Yeah, I guess... Too bad that Victor is very not interested in history or recent history
  4. Did Voldemorts action actually affect the wizarding world outside Great Britain? I always had the impression, that the conflict was pretty much confined to UK and Voldi would start to mess with other countries only after taking full control of the islands.
  5. We can't have teenagers without teenage drama
  6. I think that Punisher stole this season from Daredevil. Every episode about him > episodes with Electra. It was amazing.
  7. She can be called Little Voidess
  8. Are we going to have some bigger plot? Something to write about except classes and teenage drama? If yes, then here's my idea: Triwizard Tournament is BACK! But with a change to it's formula. This time there isn't one representative from each school. Now, every school is represented by a team of students, and there are more tasks. Students have to excel in teamwork and prove themselves in a much wider spectrum of magic talents than they had to in 1994. This way, we'll have plenty of occasions to have our characters interact and use some magic more interesting than they usually train in classes
  9. "...Do the stairs in Poland talk? I mean, not all of the stairs in Hogwarts talk, but this one does. You have to hear its study advice—I laughed for twenty minutes when it finally started giving advice about the Nigerian Prince scam, and…." Whoa, she talks FAST - was the main thought in Victor's head, but after the initial torrent of words, he began to catch up. What was that part about points? The houses must be in some kind of constant competition where they get points. That sounds fun! Her offer to help was nice, but Victor couldn't quite figure out why did she encourage him to join Slytherin. She knew nothing about his skills and abilities. He could turn out to be a disadvantage to her house... And what was that about stairs? Talking stairs? "I'm sorry, I'm rambling. But yeah. Join Slytherin." She finished her speech and finally caught a breath. Another invitation to join her house... The other girl didn't try to recruit me, interesting. Also, wait a minute, wasn't that big, bad wizard from several years ago somehow associated with Slytherin? Weren't they his main supporters or something like that? "Don't worry, you're not rambling, you just talk pretty fast." Victor answered, trying to remember step by step what she talked about. "I haven't met any talking stairs in Poland, but we have singing elevators in our Ministry of Magic." He paused for a moment, figuring out how to phrase his next question. "Wasn't that bad wizard, Voldesomething, related to Slytherin? I have to admit, I've never paid much attention to news and recent history from wizarding world." Yeah, that should be casual enough. During the seconds he waited for an answer, Victor had a shocking thought. What if she invites me to her house, because she finds me attractive?!
  10. Can there be a group that a user can join voluntarily, without any action from admins? That would be quite convenient I guess. Anyway, if we are to help decide what's the best way to deal with this, Chaos should tell us what tools do we have. Groups? Passwords? Hidden sub-forums accessible only via link?
  11. DISCLAIMER: I have no idea how much this printer costs in US or wherever you live. In Poland it was worth $96. My parents have recently bought Canon PIXMA MG 5750. While I was helping them with setting it up we've printed a photo to try it out, as there was a sample piece of glossy photo paper included in the box. I have to say I was surprised by the quality of said photo. The colours were vivid, all borders were sharp. Only difference between the photo we printed and one that we'd receive from a photo booth was that ours had some 5mm white margins (that you can obviously just cut). Apart from the nice quality of the print, there are three more things I really liked about this printer: 1. It looks nice 2. It has a screen, which allows you to use it without turning your computer on. 3. It has 5 separate ink cartridges! That is very important, as it allows you to replace only the colors that you've run out, and not the whole set of them, like is the case with some other printers. I think you'll find it very beneficial, as you'll probably use up your colour ink pretty fast while printing photos. Other info, that you probably don't care about or is unimportant: 1. It has a scanner on top of it. 2. There are 2 versions of cartridges you can use. Normal ones and XL ones, google around to find prices. 3. It can be connected wirelessly or by USB cable. You'll need USB-A (male) to USB-B (male) cable. 4. It's available in at least 2 colors (black and white) I'm not sure but there may be red too.
  12. Is it possible to create a group of users, like Mods and Global Mods are a group, that would have access to a hidden subforum? We would have open and visible graphics novel forum and a hidden prose forum. This way there will be no leaking information through topic names, and adding new people to a group can't be that hard.
  13. "A prefects duties and responsible are multitude and of great importance to the school. They are obligated to act as mentors to other students, setting the very best of examples-" Victor looked at Serena dumbfounded. Was she quoting a teacher? Couldn't she just say that they're supposed to be good role models? He found it hard to believe that it was her regular speech pattern. Sudden jerk of the train made him conscious of his face, it most likely wasn't expressing anything polite. Victor smiled, hoping she didn't notice. "We stop students from breaking rules and make ourselves available if students need help." So that's it? No privileges or powers over other students? Except this exclusive car, of course. "Ok, one more thing. The Headmaster told me that I'll be taking part in sorting ceremony. I know that there are four houses in Hogwarts and every student in part of one. But how does that work? The houses compete with each other? They are nothing else but just different bedrooms? What's this sorting ceremony? You're from Ravenclaw," he said looking at Serena and then turned to Shannon, "and what about you? What house are you from?" Victor went quiet when he noticed how many questions he had already asked without giving them a chance to answer.
  14. At the beginning of part 6 couple of characters changed into Harry. His polyjuice potion turned gold and tasted good IIRC.
  15. Wow, how did you do that last one? looks like a lot of work if it was made manualy.
  16. Here you are: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/24658-what-happened-in-corvallis/page-10#entry424711
  17. When SA3 comes out, do everything you can to read it as fast as possible and send him spoilers.
  18. And if it's rainy day, they even sometimes go under the roof where people hide from the rain and keep smoking
  19. Morzathoth that was... exhausting It was first time that I've listened to something that wasn't bad, didn't make me turn it off immediately, but when it ended I felt tired. I think it was the guitar that made me feel that way. Now, let me try to find a song that I find disturbing/scary/creepy:
  20. Does he assume everyone is online 24h a day? o.O What if you were having a family evening, playing Scrabble and not checking your email before going to bed? That's crazy
  21. I have blackberries! Life is good
  22. At least I can work when the forum is quiet I think I'd be far less productive if I worked during the Shards peak-hours.
  23. It was fine, I think he was just surprised with how formal Serena's answer was
