  5. Generally yes, they are, but they can be really irritating when they can't decide which litter box to use and they dig in every one, making me stand and wait for them to do their business so I can clean up
  6. That's a very important skill that may be crucial to your survival on this long trip. It will boost morale of your group, so that you'll be able to face any difficulty!

  11. @Jondesu Have you tried this CSS? .ipsItemStatus { font-size: 20px !important; } Those icons aren't images, they are made using a special font.
  12. Wasn't it mentioned in annotations that people that become Elantrians, found the city of Elantris empty many years ago? There might have been some clues in the abandoned city. I have no idea how the creators of Elantris knew what shape should it be in though. The city might have been created by Devotion herself. EDIT: It was from WoB that Elantris was abandoned at one point: http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=768#2
  13. A highstorm hit Warsaw today
  14. Let's talk about motivation. I'm sure every one of us has had problems with being motivated. You didn't feel like going to the gym, we don't feel like writing, we don't feel like taking that piano lesson etc. We just lack motivation or strong will to do those things and yet, we want to be fit, good writers who know how to play piano. So I ask you all: What are your sources of motivation? When you can't find the strength to do this thing that you want to do, what then? I have found in practice something that is I think kind of common knowledge: motivation is contagious. If you hang around people who are passionate, hard working and determined to achieve something, you yourself become stronger and more likely to succeed. Unfortunately it works the other way too. If you keep hanging around people that complain all the time, that don't do anything and see only negatives, you're more likely to fail. My personal way to find motivation is also listening to motivational videos. I know that it might sound stupid to some people, but they work for me. I have a playlist with some that I liked, you can check it out here if you'd like. Warning: there are some popular S- and F- curse words in some of them. TL;DR: What are your ways to motivate yourself?
  15. @The Honor Spren I don't know where you got that thought from, but if animals are people, then I'm gonna demand my cats to go to work or register as unemployed Also, I'm number 5 on the list of popular contributors of the week... I've never thought I'd be on that list
  16. I agree, if the movie isn't full of vivid colours, like Avatar is, our current 3D technology is far from satisfying for me. I always choose 2D if it's available. Especially after Pirates of Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Through the darker parts of the movie I couldn't see what is going on and this movie was full of darker parts :/ Warcraft seems brighter than PoC, but the colors aren't on Avatar level.
  17. If you were good with math, physics or other science subjects in school, you might successfully learn programming. However, unfortunately this is not a 100% indicator if programming is something for you. During the first year at university I met many students who were much better than me at math, but failed to pass the computer courses. I might look for some good online courses for you if you're interested in it. Obviously they won't make you a professional programmer, but might let you know if it's something you have talent for
  18. Acquire stray, homeless kittens. Take care of them, feed them, heal them, spending huge amounts of money in the process. Take some sweet photos of said kittens. Post them on the Shard. Harvest the upvotes. ... Profit!
  19. Ok, let me hear you complaints. Look how interested I am. Oh, wait... I'm kidding! I'm not interested at all
  20. Is someone sad? I will chew on your sad like I chew on this wire! Here you are, the sad is gone!
  21. There was a lot of discussion about reputation in Upvotes and Downvotes thread, maybe we should move back there, as this topic is meant for discussion about the new layout and features. Reputation ranks are not a new feature.
  22. Hello? Anybody writing?
  23. It's a site that tracks what I listen to. Based on that information it can suggest other tracks that I might like and compare my music taste to other users. It was popular like 10 years ago, but since it's integrated with Spotify I figured I'll keep using it And thank's to Last.fm I can have my cool signature
  24. @A peasant among wolves I don't hold any grudge against you or anything Such games are well within forum rules and I just have to accept them, others enjoy them after all
  25. I rarely write about my pet peeves, because I don't have that many, but I realized that some forum games, like Train of Thought or "a forum game with no name" are my pet peeve I'm happy to see that there is a new post in General Discussion forum, I go to see it and get disappointed by a new post in a forum game... It's not every forum game that irritates me, but those two are good examples of games that are too simple in my opinion I wish there was an option to ignore a thread...
