  1. <table> <tr> <td>Mestiv can into tables?!</td> <td>Yup!</td> </tr> </table> I like this new code editor! <table> <tr><td>Now without the code</td></tr></table>
  2. Looks like the new site didn't break my signature too much ^^ It seems to work correctly again
  3. All right then, it's unusual for me, but I'll get used to it I guess
  4. Is my top menu supposed to be so low (Chrome and Firefox on Xubuntu)? I think it should be up there, close to the top of the page. Except for that, I really like this new design
  5. What are the requirements for a good WoB database?
  6. And I'll need to fix my signature as this update will most likely brake it
  7. This. I like this song.
  8. At least you now have a good reason to buy the new, updated edition of WoR
  9. Have a smaller one, I need to practice both I like your avatar (although I think I'll always associate you with Rey ).
  10. Hurray! Let's hope nothing will break, nothing will fall apart and nothing gets lost ^^
  11. What contest? anyway congratulations!
  12. You're a positive force of nature.
  13. I have honestly no idea why, I have some errors in my logs, that indicate client disconnecting, but nothing that might tell my why you can't see it now.
  14. I'm not really sure what happened with Daisy. We got a "6 months later" jump and suddenly Coulson is hunting Daisy. What? How did that happen and why? I didn't care that much who was going to die, I won't really miss Lincoln. I will miss Brett Dalton however! I really liked him as an actor, despite not being too fond of Hydra-Ward or Hive. There was something about him that I enjoyed watching. The climax with Hive and Lincoln floating in the Quinjet was perfect. Hive, accepting his defeat, having a calm conversation with Lincoln. So peaceful, making me almost feel sympathy for Hive.
  15. I'm a simple cat person, I see a cat, I upvote
  16. Take a look at my Spotify profile, I'm not sure you'll like anything you'll find there, but who knows? https://open.spotify.com/user/1170113227 If you don't use Spotify, I'd suggest checking out Nightwish, their 2 most recent albums: Imaginarium and Endless Forms Most Beautiful. Also Delain, Within Temptation, Nemesea and Lacuna Coil. After that, you'll know if Gothic/Symphonic Metal is something you like If you like Soundtracks and Soundrack-like music, then Two Steps From Hell and practically every known soundtrack composer has something for you. Also soundtracks from games are better than one might expect, my favorites are Witcher 3 (a lot of Slavic folk with varied pacing) and Anno 1404 (medieval/oriental). If you like medieval/oriental then soundtrack from the movie Kingdom of Heaven is just amazing... I also like listening to birds, rain and any other natural ambient sounds...
  17. And then, when you'd be done with crying, you'll enjoy the silence, right?
  18. I've never written anything longer than my RP posts on the Shard, but I might be interested in joining you, knowing that Sharders are nice and kind when offering constructive critique Edit: I forgot to mention, that I'm Mestiv there as well
  19. For fun? For the physical part? Because despite knowing those statistics, you may hope that your relationship will last? And also, because even if a relationship breaks up, in most cases, it shouldn't be considered a waste of time. It's an important experience, teaching you how to communicate etc. This experience may help you build a more stable and happy relationship later, when you're older. There are many reasons for dating and being in relationship But, if you don't feel like it, there are absolutely as many reasons not to be in a relationship Both ways are valid in my opinion. I'm happy that I dated in high school, some of my fondest memories come from it. It was painful sometimes, but after all I think it was worth it.
  20. This is really not a nice way to talk about computer illiterate people :/ My 80 years old grandpa once approached my desk, asked me "Is this this thing called Internet?" while pointing at a printer. It may seem funny at first, but just think about it, how was he supposed to know? He didn't see a computer before he was 70 years old, no wonder he doesn't know what is what. I tried to explain what Internet is to him and he tried to understand. I'm not sure he got it, but after some time he asked me to find some information about something on the Internet. I felt proud that despite his old age he wanted to try and use new technology to find some information. Other, younger people maybe were risen in a family that couldn't afford a computer? Maybe they migrated from a poor country where computers weren't common? You shouldn't call someone who's willing to learn a Neanderthal :/

Will the updated site have a different mobile version?
  22. If the book happened in Nigeria or any other country that I'm aware has majority of black people, I would assume black as a default. When I was reading World War Z, there were parts about a Japanese otaku, I've obviously assumed he's Asian despite I don't remember reading any description of him. If Hermione's name wasn't Granger but Namaka, I'd think twice before assuming her race, but Granger sound British, she's British, so she was white to me... Also, most black people have black hair, and if I recall correctly, her's were described as brown? What I'm trying to say is that most of us probably assume some traits of characters like race, height etc. based on our knowledge about the environment those characters are from. Not based on ourselves or people around us, but on that we'd expect from a typical person in the world of the book. Unless author gives us some other information, obviously.
  23. When we take stray cats home, all we have to do, to get rid of fleas is spray the cat once with Fiprex. All fleas on the cat are dead in a matter of 2-3 hours and we're done. I think Europe is the luckiest place ever in case of what diseases and parasites we have here.
  24. I see, I feel so lucky that we don't have those heartworms here in Europe/Poland. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Bruce
