  1. My thoughts on the survivors are pretty general, but it seems to me we have a few inactive, but the majority is participating and trying to figure out who the diagramists are. The problem being, one or more of those people are actually diagramists, and are attempting to divert suspicion to other players. Or a diagramist could just be inactive, trying to fly under the radar. So no huge suspicions. My biggest one is phatt, but that's to be retracted if I see some evidence to the contrary.
  2. I did say I had something going on. I said, in the thread, that I would be gone a week. If you do not remember that, I apologize. And yes, I am mostly only reacting to posts against me, partially because I agree with what people say, but not enough to place a vote, and partially because half the posts so far in this thread have been directed at me. I haven't voted, because I want sure of who to target, but now I am going to place my lynch vote on you, phattemer. Your attacks seem focused towards starting a bandwagon, and I really don't feel your points are strong enough to warrant the extreme attacks against me. It seems to me the kind of strategy a diagramist would use, and, as of now, you are the person who I suspect the most of being one. Your points seem imbalanced to the amount of emotion I'm feeling from your posts. (I apologize if that is really confusing or bad wording.) Edit: Coloring.
  3. It is true that lunching an innocent inactive is better for the group than lynching an active, but I WAS inactive for a week. I am back now, and plan to be active until this game is finished. Or I am dead. Either way. I can't really sway you, but I am saying I will be active for the duration. Which classified me as an "active" player, I believe. Some of these inactive had things come up, or are still in the middle of extrenuating circumstances, and are unable to post, but are still interested in the game. I don't think we should punish someone because their grandmother died. (Please note, I am not saying anyone's grandmother died, I am using this as an example. If your grandmother did actually die, my condolences.)
  4. Okay, the old, "inactive, must be an eliminator." Can't say I argue with your logic, but it isn't perfect. In MR7 we had a few cycles in a row with no kills, just because people never got around to putting in their actions before it was too late. And also, admitting that you have the power to stop kills and are willing to use it makes you a target, so it's possible someone simply didn't speak up, which is a sound strategy. Again, I understand your logic, I'm merely pointing out that it isn't infallible.
  5. Hmmm... I do think that it's odd that Joe isn't responding, because he has been quite active in all other SE games I've seen him participate in. I do think that it's more likely that something came up and he's not able to participate, rather than him just choosing not to participate to avoid suspicion. Also, if you guys are ever at a loss for a lynch, I do have a campout next week, for 5-6 days, so I'll be inactive that whole time. I'm frankly surprised I lasted this long with so many kill abilities floating around. So if anyone suspects me, I'm not horribly averse to dying before next week. I do want to place a vote, because I accidentally didn't vote last day phase, and I want to pull my weight. I'm going to place a vote on Mailliw. I've seen more posts of RP, (which I'm not averse to by any extent.) than all your helpful posts together, and I'd like for there to be more discussion. If viewed from a certain light, you could be seen as a potential diagramist. If I get a good reason why you're not, that I find valid, I will retract this vote, but I do want to vote for someone this cycle.
  6. I just want to apologize for being inactive yesterday. I forgot to follow the thread, and thought I had, so I was confused why nobody is saying anything. And I was also very busy, so I never really took the time to check up and see what was actually happening. I'll be much more active this cycle, and I am very sorry for completely missing out last time. Edit: stupid auto-correct. Edit 2: congrats on getting another diagramist dead! From what people have said so far, it sounds like roughly one-third are out. Villagers for the win!
  7. Could I get signed up for the spectator doc? LG13 is still going, and I just barely finished MR7, and QF8 right before that. Feeling a little burned out right now.
  8. Okay. Once again, I'm on mobile, so splotches for no colored copies, but I'm going to but my lunch vote on hero. I don't know much about either one from past games, so I'm pretty much choosing blindly. Also, unsure about PK right now. Acting confusing to get scanned wastes a scan action, if he is actually a villager, and being confusing is just confusing.
  9. Okay guys, lots of catching up to do, but I think I'm all ready now. (I don't mind being called BB, and paranoid king was referred to by PK in MR7. It could be possible that if there was a diagrammatic(? Autocorrect changed it to this and I'm wondering if it works.) They didn't tell the rest about it, and they killed him without being aware of the free info that would be incoming. That is a slim possibility. My best guess, and the one I think is correct, is simply that Bort did not contact any diagrammatics, but they had scanned Bort, knew he was a KR, and killed him. I believe the chance was 60% for there to be a diagramist, but that leaves 40% chance that there wasn't one, and that's saying it was complete RNG. It seems to me that Bort would choose people he would trust reducing the chance quite a bit. I'll place a Lynch vote on Macen, sorry, on mobile, no colors for now. He seemed to be directing a lot of attention towards the Bort PM situation, which if my chosen theory is correct, is pushing suspicion on innocents.
  10. Not quite sure where to put this so any more, feel free to move it if necessary. Just picked up Patrick Rothfuss's Name of the Wind, and wanted to know what people thought of it, from a sanderfan's perspective. Just wanted to know how it would compare to Brandon's works, and if you guys think it's a worthwhile purchase. I do know that this isn't really Brandon related, and maybe shouldn't even be on the forums, but I wasn't really sure where else to go.
  11. I need this now. I didn't know I even wanted it, but I need it.
  12. I can't believe it. I'm still alive? Sorry for the inactivity, but last thursday my family had a 4hour internet outage, immexiately followed by a six hour drive to go on vacation, also followed by 6 days of vacation without internet, and the drive back. I didn't tell you beforehand, because I thought I would have internet there. I am so sorry about all the inactivity, and I have a lot of catching up to do. Mostly I'm just surprised that I'm alive. Also, PK was on the vacation with me, with the same issues, so that's why he was inactive too.

  14. Consciously, he's slightly depressed, and not the brightest, but his subconscious is quite smart. It recognized the glowing gloves as a sign of stolen spheres. He ate them to keep your character from simply stealing them back, but he'll end up giving them to the authorities later, even though he wasn't originally planning that. And there really is no proof that I can give of being innocent except my word. The only post I have made so far was me saying I wasn't going to vote yet. This is just how the first round goes, placing a vote, with really no suspicion, and seeing how they respond. I tell you that I'm innocent, but whether or not you believe me is up to you. I'm not going to vote, because right now, I see that as akin to accusing someone of a crime, and you don't know if they did it or not. I will vote later, after seeing how people act. Again, you only have my word that I'm not an eliminator, and you decide if that's good enough or not. But randomly accusing people might work in the first cycle, it's what leads to eliminator wins if this keeps happening late in the game.
