  1. There most likely is one, just because that seems like the kind of GM Wyrm is. Also, I'm being suspected that fast?!?! I seem to have a talent for doing that. Those are my honest suspicions, and if I'm going to vote for someone, and I am on this first round, I want it to be someone that's done something suspicious, instead of just blindly voting for someone.
  2. I know that the eliminators can't sweep in for the victory, I'm saying that I don't want them to sweep in even for a kill, and while it would be hard for them to do it without being revealed, I'd still rather not take chances, and at least try and lynch somebody. Edit: Hey, Cow, what I try and go for is an 8, mostly RP, but with some quick responses when I need to, but I can't seem to manage it, and am currently hovering between 1 and 4. If you feel like you can do the whole game in RP, then go ahead, but don't be so tied to it that you don't post, just because you can't think of a good way to put it. P.S. I like your signature. I described SE to someone almost exactly like that earlier.
  3. Okay, so it looks like some people have taken their vote off of Alvron for now, saying it was a joke, but I think it was a bit too far for a joke, and right now, he is the biggest suspect around here. So I'm going to leave my vote there, and I hope that we can have a successful 1st day lynch this time. I wasn't sure about it last voyage, but I don't want the eliminators to sweep in at the end again, even if it's not the end of the game.
  4. The crux of my second plan was that if there is one eliminator, and two loyalists in the 3 PMs, if the person that is scanned is a loyalist, then nothing happens, except one less person under suspicion, and that info could be spread to the rest of the thread as well. If it's an eliminator though, the eliminators will know, okay so this guy will probably be targeted, but we don't know by whom, or what they will do. If it's the Lynch that's against them, they can defend against that. But if it's individual actions, they don't know what's coming.
  5. I'm not going to do a vote on the first day, as we don't have enough suspicions, and I don't really think that we need to do a poke vote, so I'll be pretty quiet. Just popping in to say that I agree with testing the HI as innocent until turned guilty. Doesn't mean we should leak secrets to him because he's there, but we have a useful resource here, and its just a waste if all we do with it is mistrust it. What we might want to do is have the HI either submit the results of his scans in the thread, as the eliminators already know who is good and who is bad, but then they know who we are targeting if the HI scans an eliminator. Option 2, the HI waits a cycle or two, and chooses up to three people that are mostly active and he thinks he can trust, and PM's his results to them. There'll probably be an eliminator in there, but with 3 people, there will be at least 1 loyal centenary, who can then use any actions they might have against those people, while the eliminators can't really do anything about it. They will know he will probably be targeted, but not by what, as it won't be a lynch unless a peak crewmember shares the information in the thread.
  6. James read through the captains log, smiling through the whole thing. Hacking into confidential data always made him excited. "There isn't much better than this, eh Spook?" He called out into open air. "Is almost a work of art. You feel the tension, but with a pinch of humor as well. This should be a good trip." Spoil didn't answer, but then, he never did. That was something that James would have to fix at some point. Maybe some torture would get the message across. But regardless of that, he did whatever job was given him flawlessly, although no jobs ever were, never talked back to his superior officer, and in short, was the best first officer an ensign could ever have. "This should be a voyage to remember! Unless I did, in which case I'll forget!" Sinister cackling filled the abandoned corridors of the ship.
  7. Yes. Yes I do. I find what he does to be very enjoyable, funny, as well as scientific. What if is some of the best "science" I have ever read. One time PK showed it to an actual science teacher, the teacher read it, and then repeatedly referenced it in the next class.A particular favorite is vaporizing raindrops with a laser.
  8. I'd give allomantic pewter(strength) and feruchemical zinc(mental speed) to Paranoid King. Then hopefully he'd give me some abilities back, while still using his. Siblings are nice that way. Also it just cool to have a brother with superpowers, even if I don't. Does that count as him using them for me? Edit: lengthened for clarification.
  9. Was, "taste in books" on that list? Just wondering...
  10. Me and PK are siblings. It's led to some interesting mistakes. Such as MR7, where he spent 2 hours pretending to break a secret code he already that he knew what it said. That's dedication. And me, knowing that he had spent two hours, proceeded to tell everyone that I believed he actually solved it. So he didn't get caught. Things like that is what makes SE so fun.
  11. "I'm not saying it was dragons, but it was dragons."

    1. WayneSpren

      WayneSpren

      Actually, you are correct.

  12. I would like to point out that Hoid is more concerned with Cosmere wide happenings, and the Alloy of Law series is a lot more personal to Wax and the city, without too many impacts on the Cosmere as a whole. Hoid did not appear in AoL as far as I know, and the reason to pop up in SoS might be because of Hemalurgy, but I still don't think that Hoid really cares that much about Scadrial at that time.
  13. Just to clarify, TES is not Elantris 2. Brandon Likes to do different books between his huge series, and so he came up with an interesting magic system, and decided to put it on a part of Sel that we haven't seen before. TES is not related to Elantris in any way, other than being on the same world, and possibly introducing the magic system for later books on that world. But mainly, this was a project that Brandon wanted to do to take a break from other books that he enjoyed writing, and published. Brandon is an author that writes because he enjoys writing, not for money or fame, so the bait-and-switch won't be a tactic that he would use. P.S. I do notice that this is your first post, so Welcome to the Shard! I hope you enjoy your stay.
  14. The map of Roshar was built off of a fractal. My apologies, I can't remember which one though.
  15. Hi there, and welcome to the forums! My view on this is that while Marsh did not need to see in the dark, I believe it is stated in the final empire that inquisitors see by using steel-lines. He is looking at a sheet of metal, unless I have the situation wrong, with words inscribed in it. That seems to me that it would be very hard to read, no matter how well you could interpret them, so he flared his fun to increase his senses, and be able to get a better grasp of what his steel-lines said. I don't quite get how the steel-sight works, so this theory might be off, but if I have it correct, it certainly clears up the problem.
  16. Definitely. There are so many little gems in his books. Just look at Raoden in Elantris! There's a plethora of inspiration right there. The first ideal is probably the most known, but "There's always another secret," has to be my favorite.
  17. You know you're a sanderfan when the most natural excuse to keep reading is, "But it's a Sanderson book!" And see that as a perfectly logical argument.
  18. Twould seem I am to be lynched. But I did think there was more people voting for Mailliw. Two more at least. Did they change their votes, and I just missed it? Well then, it's been a fun game. Good luck with the diagramists. I hope my sacrifice isn't in vain. Remember me when I'm gone... (Fades into distance.)
