Good luck! That's where I stopped due to life happening. From what I heard, it is the weakest, buuuut important stuff still happens in it.

I've also been watching The Owl House season 2 episodes as they have been released, and frankly I believe I'm getting the vapours! *swoons*

The issue is also, contractually, Black Widow was supposed to get an exclusively theatrical release. By releasing it concurrently on Disney+, Disney opened themselves to a breach of contract suit. The estimated loss of revenue is to demonstrate harm done so the courts will allow the case to move forward. I suspect at that point, it'll get settled out of court for an undisclosed amount that will be less than the estimated loss. Basically, by doing it this way, Disney has managed to pay Scarlett Johansson less than if they had renegotiated the contract like her agent was trying to do. Scar-Jo does not want to pay for an expensive lawsuit that she can potentially lose and Disney's legal team has probably all ready done an analysis where Disney stands to gain in this situation.

I like Anne a lot. The other characters are fine, and growing on me.

Time to kick up the weirdness in this here thread!

Just came out! It's part of the High Republic portion of Star Wars that is using different "mediums" to tell stories in a time a few hundred years before Episode 1. So books ("adult", YA, middle grade and children's), comics and eventually manga a little later this year. Get in on the ground floor on canon that won't be acknowledged anywhere else! *laugh-sobs*

0:55 on the new weekly update (July 19 2021)
Orlion Blight replied to Regent's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I imagine it is casual at the moment. Like a couple Zoom calls plus what we know he's doing (i.e. the Mistborn script). Something of note when you do a weekly update, almost never amounts to anything substantial for fans (it's still good, because it means options monies for Brandon) -

"..it was good that God kept the truths of life from the young as they were starting out or else they'd have no heart to start at all." -from All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy Not implying anything about your age, just read this and seemed suitably melancholic for this occasion -
Controversial Opinions
Orlion Blight replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Entertainment Discussion
It is quite possible that both Dragonlance and Malazan cause harm to the fantasy genre. Along with Forgotten Realms! Anyhow, today's controversial opinion: Critical Role is ruining Tabletop Gaming -
Sounds like it's a missed deadline/ rescheduling issue.

Unpopular Brandon Sanderson Opinions
Orlion Blight replied to not an Evil Librarian's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I mean, Sanderson is all ready a household name. You do not need a Netflix adaptation to be one or to make obscene amounts of money. Here's the thing: Brandon has written YA because, he claims, it helps refresh him and keep him from burning out. That's fine. It's part of the process to reliably get Cosmere books (which most Sanderfans are here for. Sorry/not sorry) so people shouldn't be too upset with them because they aren't really causing a delay. You know what does cause delays? Failed projects (Apocalypse Guard) and "offical branded stories" (Magic: the Gathering novella). Those two were the principle reasons for the delay in the Lost Metal. Skyward isn't causing delays. It allowed him to fulfill contractual obligations when Apocalypse Guard failed and he's been able to write each installment at his typical pace. But we don't know if that'll be the case with future YA series. We also don't know if his other side projects are going to impact his writing speed (currently, it does not look like it. But if he keeps gathering side projects, something will have to give). It does seem like he's aware of this, so hopefully after Skward is finished, his breather project will be Rithmatist 2 and not something new. Because if we are talking business sense, the longer it takes for that book to appear, the less business sense it makes to write or publish (and that assumes the current publisher of Rithmatist doesn't fold, get reorganized or bought complicating the fate of that book and any potential sequel). -

At a certain point, I wouldn't worry about labeling every granule aspect of your identity. Start off first with what you know. Than, using the various other terms, you can formulate a description of what you would want in a relationship. The key is to communicate clearly your wants and needs, and even if you eventually find another term that fits you, you will likely have to provide a description anyway. So "I am asexual, and I look for so-on-and-so-forth in a relationship" would be very useful to you while you lack a term for the "so-on-and-so-forth" part.

I just don't think he'll ever write it And of course Brandon would never agree to write it. It's waaaaay outside his wheel(of time)house and he has too much stuff he wants to do. I can't imagine him putting everything on hold again to agree to write the final book in another series which will end up being 3 books.
