    My vote is he accidentally wrote a book much earlier than planned and doesn't want to tell anyone in case he wants a rainy day book.

    The series is kind of Song of Ice and Fire lite. It has some crude elements but unlike ASOIF, it isn't a central part of the story.

    Please remember though, images aren't everything. I, for instance am legally-blind so most visual images make absolutely no impression on me. I can however see mental images very well based on words.

    My guess is Tavi got her powers at puberty from Prof dying or something because an infant or young child with Prof's powers probably would have killed everyone near by accident

    My guess is the alternate Prof had Tavi before going dark but in the main reality he didn't have a daughter or killed her and supressed the memory. With David's dad, my guess is he killed David trying out a power like Edmund killed his wife.

    I think the mask gift was a proposal and it doesn't matter that there was no overt love. Wax and Steris didn't love each other at first.

    I have the Shadows Beneath GA and I know this is probably heresy but I like Mary's story best. I like all the stories but hers I like best. No torches and pitchforks please, it would be hard to get the burning smell out

    Just listened to perfect state and I like it better than Legion. I hope brandon writes more of Kai and I think the ending was a set up for more.

    I haven't finished yet but wayne did get a little irritating in this book so far. He's still hilarious but did wane a bit. Like others, I wouldn't want to know him but he's a pretty funny character. He's like Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy, pretty funny character, not the nicest person

    My guess is the Lost Metal is Atium. Does anyone in book even know about Lerasium because I don't remember it mentioned. Also the new spike metal is unknown not lost. Unless something better comes along my money's on atium.

    No one does but we have Calamity, Dark Talent, an anthology, Oathbringer and who knows what else before the lost metal. Then we might have to wait for Elantris sequels before Era 2.

    Thought of a way it could be Odium, wasn't there a WoB or something that Rayse broke his shard a little. Could Trell be that splinter of Odium?
