see, I don't think he is. Think about it. Does "I Am Unity" sound like a third ideal? If the skybreakers 5th ideal is to "become the law", then it makes sense that the 5th ideal of a bondsmith is to "become unification". Dalinar is suddenly flooded by a sense of awareness. I think that moment of clarity power-leveled him. His next words were: "I will take responsibility for what I have done": third ideal "If I must fall, I will rise again, each time a better man": fourth ideal "I am unity": fifth ideal That's why Stormfather was so flabbergasted. Hell, even Odium was caught with his pants down. It didn't have a ring of "These words are accepted...sooner than I expected". Instead it was "These words...are accepted...what...what did you do?" Honor's perpendicularity shouldn't be something he has access to until he fully bonds with the sliver of Honor (Stormfather). Gotta go with Shallan. She gets so much screentime to do things that have almost no overall plot impact. And her character development is all over the place. The ways she seems to learn and grow randomly disappear the next time the POV switches to her.

I was pretty slow on the uptake, so it took me until Nightblood mentions her name for me to make the connection.

No, I really don’t think it’s possible. Both the magic system and the concept of the “Wheel of Time” as an ever-repeating history with resurrections and all, don’t really fit in with the Cosmere

The God King gave Vasher all his breath. He got all buff and god-like but no mention of his hair going white. I thought of Wax, but I think the life force from 50,000+ people beats what he was holding. But that's another example of a lot of investiture. No white hair there either.

I don't think it's that. At the end of Hero of Ages, I distinctly remember Ati being a red-head And I could be wrong about this, but I don't believe Vasher's hair turned white at the end of Warbreaker and at that point, he was about as heavily invested as anyone has gotten in a book.

In the epilogue in the extended edition, he appears and is apparently surprised that his plans to turn himself into an Elantrian didn't work. But what with the white hair comments from people looking for him in Way of Kings, he seems to have gotten there eventually.

Moash. That's more about my preconceptions than anything. I fully expected him to fade into irrelevance. But believably, and practically on accident, he turned out to be one of the most important and impactful characters in the book.

That makes a lot of sense. Wit really was in the right place at the right time. Not the least of which because thanks to the oaths required, a lightweaver is the only order he could have joined without severely limiting himself and his plans.

Nah, I think Elhokar is just straight up dead. Maybe Eshonai though. But Brandon has to be careful with that. He already brought Kelsier back that way. If death is going to mean anything substantial in the Cosmere books, he can't make a habit of bringing back characters who die

I think Honor somehow forced Odium to invest himself in Braize. I can't think of any other reason why he would be trapped there

I suspect that it actually has to do with the actual origins of the storms. But of course, it would have been a community of Parsh, not Humans Or, Shinovar was totally walled off when humans originally came to Roshar. The wall might have been made of stone and they were forbidden to climb it, which would help to explain why they see it as sacred.

I want to know what the deal is with shardplate besides that you get it when you speak the 4th ideal. I want to know the orders and surges (voids? Some other name?) of voidbinding I want (need) to know all about Shin and Szeth's past and everything about that whole situation I want to know how the old magic works

I didn't really cry in this one. I definitely did a few time in books 1 and 2, but Oathbringer just didn't get to me in that way for some reason. I got goosebumps a few times, but no tears
