  1. He shows up in one scene at a city gate and neither he nor that location ever reappear in the story after that chapter. Just a dude visually described only as 'what looks like some sort of autonomous lieutenant in a garrison or something' and 'looks like he likes ham'. Inspired by my question to Sanderson that got a RAFO about Ham's friend in the Luthadel garrison named Bevidon who has a similar role in Mistborn, and his connection to Bavadin, AKA Autonomy Posted here because I'm pretty sure none of my readers picked up on it and I wanted SOMEONE to get the joke. The Anime Club on Royal Road, chapter name Legend if anyone's interested The prologue and a few recent chapters may also feature some far more blunt-force references WARNING: I SWEAR A LOT
  2. WaT Prediction
  3. I didn't make the gyatt just the acronym Warning: filthy, filthy word that must be kept from innocent eyes. Look away, all ye who do not wish your visage besmirched
  4. I will protect those who were written to be protected.
  5. 'I'm a Stick' Sung by The Stick To the exact tune of 'I'm the Map' from Dora the Explorer
  6. Stormlight Archive is my favorite book series The Way of Kings is my favorite book. no need for qualifications of any kind.
  7. Hoid - he's an information trader
  8. That reminds me of my favorite ending idea for A Song of Ice and Fire The Red Comet impacts the middle of the map, causing a planet-devistating natural disaster, killing everyone, and sending a larger message about the pointlessness of all their scheming and betrayals.
  9. I don't recall calling him Harmony in my theory either.
  10. Not my intention at all. The existence and identity of Harmony is revealed in the letters between him and Hoid. And I hope for all our sakes that none of the rest of that is a real spoiler.
  11. Dalinar takes up Honor He and Taravangian kill each other, leaving Honor and Odium without vessels Shallan takes up both and becomes Sarcasm When Shallan and Sazed meet, the Cosmere explodes in sarcastic harmony
  12. In Rhythm of War, Raboniel mentions that they tried space travel, and died During that she mentioned ( paraphrased ) : " the strange pressures of that place " Do we know whether that's just normal interplanetary space stuff? or are the pressures she mentioned Cosmere-specific? For example, I could see something like a pressure-based storm in space being caused by a reaction between Honor, Cultivation, and Odium at that distance. but anyway, has that ever been confirmed in either direction?
  13. Ok, I can do that It doesn't quite get across the same meaning, but a slightly diluted message is certainly preferable to all this mess. it's not all possible paths, just the most likely one. The future Odium sees is like a highly-detailed snapshot. And I don't think Sanderson did that on purpose. That's why I find it funny. Because the effect is the same. The diagram Odium paints is precisely a projected outline of the plot going forward from that specific moment, based on everything Sanderson had planned at the time of that writing. ( minus the influence of Renarin )
  14. Well this went sideways...
  15. Despite the similar spelling, that's not what that word means. ( not when used in terms of writing fiction, anyway. )
  16. Odium literally shows Taravangian the Plot Outline for The Stormlight Archive. Which I think makes Taravangian's inner monologue about how amazing and deep it all is, the most self-indulgent thing Sanderson has ever published. This isn't criticism. It is, however, hilarious.
  17. That's a weird way to categorize people. Not that I'm gonna stop you from having a club about it. I only said that to emphasize that it was a time in my life when sleep and meetings were the only times I wasn't actively reading Oathbringer.
