It was written before 2006, because that's when he published Mistborn:TFE (and he finished Aether well before Warbreaker, he'd only just written Mythwalker, a.k.a. Warbreaker Prime), and in between those 2 he also wrote WoK Prime, Final Empire Prime, Mistborn Prime, and maybe something else I've forgotten.

Yes, but I don't think that's part of our canon. We might have an IT guy of our own, but we have no idea where that's heading.

Awesome Calamity Giveaway

Are non-US Sharders allowed to try as well? Trying to come up with a metaphor is like being attacked by a drunk hippo. You only discover how rubbish you are at it once you're already doing it. -

Has the Shardic Number Theory actually been confirmed yet? Because, I have to admit, I think a few of the ideas presented in this are tenuous at best. I mean, sure it's been 500 years since x as of when the book was published, but it's a world, and doesn't just exist for that one brief section that we see. So, at another point in history, these links of it's been x years since will be different - so would the Shard's number change? I don't find this a plausible theory. I'm surprised it's taken off. (No offence meant to ...Skaa, I think it was, but this sort of irks me for some reason.) /rant

He dies, and is immediately revived next morning thanks to another Epic's powers. I wish for a piece of food that is adequate for a meal to appear before every human who does not have enough (i.e. a portion which allows them to stay nourished) food to eat for that particular mealtime (i.e. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner), starting on the 20th of April 2016, and continuing until the destruction of the earth. The destruction of the Earth must come at it's regular time without genie interference, and same goes for any form of alteration to any land surface of the planet or any person on the planet. The receivers are to receive food at the times in which they need it, at a temperature that is optimal to each individual person who is receiving it. It is to arrive 1 meter, in a direction that is within their eyesight, and can't have any velocity relative to the receiver. The food must be easily edible to each individual without any negative effects like indigestion. The food must be a meal that the eater would be able to enjoy. The receiver of the meal must be able to eat the meal that is sent to them (i.e. You can't make all their teeth fall out, or change their digestive system), and there can't be any external effects (e.g. Mobs, indestructible packaging, etc.) that can prevent them from eating it either. The genie must create the meal from nothing (i.e. he can't take food from somewhere else to make the meals), without any ingredients that has the potential to physically, mentally, or emotionally harm the receiver of the meal. The meal, and all of it's sum ingredients, must be made of ingredients that it is considered 'normal' for 21st Century societies to eat. EDIT: Bolded the changed sentence.

All the dictionaries in the world alter themselves. The definition for 'down' is now an exact synonym for the word 'up'. No other changes have occurred. Around the Cosmere: Theories & WoB for March & April

When will Theoryland be updated? It doesn't seem to have been updated since Brandon's AMA last May. (That's not meant as a slur or an insult - I'd be happy to help out if it's a matter of manpower and busy schedules.) -

For a lot of you, it depends on the subject matter. For example, take Kobold: Worldbuilding!Kobold/Creation Daily!Kobold sounds like an enthusiastic professor. Joking!Kobold sounds quite deadpan, and a little deeper for some reason. RP-ing!Kobold sounds like a really excited storyteller. That's not to say they're three different voices, more... 3 different inflections to the same voice.- 1963 replies

Uhhhh... One of them has "Gotta' catch 'em all." in it. That's about all I can tell you. To be fair, I have the same a few lines going around in my head, and I can't think what comes next. "Pokemon, gotta catch em all (da da da-aa-aa-aa) da da da da da da-aa da You teach me and I'll teach you Po-ke-mo-on Gotta catch em all (gotta catch em aa-aa-all (Pokemon))"

Not that I've actually read it (yet), but I think the profile image is from Red Rising? I happened to do a bit of research on it with the Sevro/Darrow Cage Match that happened recently. Assuming I'm right : "Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?" "Of course it's happening inside your head, [name], but why on earth should that mean that it isn't real?"
