    Is anyone else getting the feeling the preface we get each week isn't the actual preface from the book. I feel like it's a place holder for the real thing. There's nothing of significance being said. I've read everything BRANDON SANDERSON has written and there's no fluff/filler in any of it. I believe jasnah kolin is the author and she would not be making apologies for writing it. Being a no nonsense character the preface would be straight forward and unapologetic. Any thoughts?

    I mean it's gotta be the strata in the walls right it's only been mentioned in every shallen chapter. She even had drawings of it she didn't remember doing.

    @Varenus That is a interesting theory about kalami. The only thing that is nagging at me is why haven't we seen any attempts on dalinar once he veered away from being the warlord. We know the diagram states to kill dalinar expediently if he starts to unify the kingdom. I would think if kalami is a diagramist she would've poisoned dalinar and let the blame lean towards sadeas.

    @Faceless Mist-Wraith I not only think Mr. T is editing the communication coming and going from the spanreed hub but he is also behind the riots in Kholinar. We have seen a member from the diagram almost assassinate a king. Would it be that much of a stretch to think he's been prodding the sore points to cause riots?

    I can see it now syl wearing a big brimmed hat with a rooster feather. Big gold chains around her neck. Full length fur coat. A cane in one hand a big chalice with SYL BEAUTIFUL spelled in diamonds in the other and every town they go to she's like hey hey lady's look at my man over here just one emerald broam and he's your for the night. Lol (SUPER FLY SYL IN THE HOUSE)

    Well @Ilona_S I did a thorough re-read of all things Sanderson. Then went through The Night Angel Trilogy and Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks. I also liked The Witcher books by Andzej Sapkowski (don't ask me to pronounce that). Oh and I also enjoyed The Powder Mage Trilogy by Brian McClellan. Hope this helps.

    @Child of Hodor you said something interesting. The Heralds are bonded to the honorblades. If shardblades are based off there design shouldn't they be usable by other people? Maybe once the Heralds left the blades it's possible for others to use the honorblades. Ps: I like this theory

    @nervousnerd speaking of kaladin and glyphs. When he land in the shattered plains before his final dual with szeth a glyph formed from Stormlight in a sword like shape.

    I've got a question how will Harmony pick up a Shard if he's not attuned to that Shard? We know the only way he was able to pick up Ruin and Preservation was being equally attuned to those Shards.

    Could Hemalurgy steal the part of the soul thats bonded to a Spren?

    Trell was worshipped by the Nelazan before TLR ascended. What is the consensus of it being the same Trell as in BoM? @goody153

    That's a great idea to have a detailed Coppermind medallion entry. People have been worshipping Trell on Scadrial since before TLR ascended. It was a localized religion. The Nelazan practiced it but how the religion got started is a mystery. I believe there had to be some direct contact by Trell that caused the recent resurgence.

    Hola @Conatus (hola is spanish for hello I chose it because that's the only non-English word I know) welcome to the Shard. This and the Coppermind are the best places to learn/talk about Brandon Sandersons awsome literary universes and grind your teeth till the next book comes out.

    Ten if we count the one that wants to hide. I'm thinking Trell is the Shard that is not invested in any planet. As his followers believe he's the darkness between stars and they are his thousand eyes. [SO MUCH WE MUST LEARN]
