  1. ...and the bridgeman archer downed enemy officers in the battlefield like Renarin Kholin killed conversations in his family palace.
  2. I don't know. In the cosmere clarividence seems pretty uncontrollable. In mistborn Plus, in the Parshendi songs the Nightform, althought a form of power, isn't portrayed as as evil as the others, and speaks of Odium's defeat throught "a challenged champion, a strife even he must requite". I wouldn't be surprised if Odium can't fully control the death rattles, only decide if they happen, where, and how frequently.
  3. I see. Thankfully, most people who ended up as Truthwatchers most likely don't need squires, so just try to stand out of the way while I scream about the End Of All Things, ok?
  4. Or it would mean the Nightwatcher is a Parshendi, or that the way her curses and blessings work are like the Parshendi spren bonds.
  5. Fully agreed. Just to point out: Mr.T probably lied about the stolen honourblade, but you are right that they only had eight, counting Szeth's Blade.
  6. Wyndle considers Lift as blessed by the "mother" of his people, and Lift visited the Nightwatcher, so I think it is pretty clear she is of Cultivation. Plus, the Listeners being "the old people" means they lived in Roshar before the coming of humanity and the Shards. While they are vulnerable to Odium throught their ease at bonding spren, be they regular or corrupted, they are of Adonalsium, not Odium.
  7. "The king of Herdaz doens't have a daughter."
  8. Perhaps SDNA is just part of the spiritweb. The clone would have most of his spiritweb, but would have a "blank" sDNA, copied from the generic "human" template. This only works if people "grow" a spiritweb as they come into being, and only the sDNA part is inherited from their parents.
  9. Well, if he turns out to be a Edgedancer, I would rather learn about the order from him than from Lift, who I see as the same kind of character as Nightblood: don't overdo it, ever.
  10. Shardworlds aren't "owned" by shards. Yes, in mistborn But Roshar seems to be from the times of Adonalsium Himself, and we have no clue about the other worlds.
  11. Perhaps if it was soulcast out of wood or bone it would be safer, because trying to turn a spike into a type four awakened object would be risky, to say the least. Maybe it would convert the breaths used to awaken it into a sDNA fragment that allows your to use allomantic powers drawing from Endowment, not Preservation? But them you would have to hack it even more to use it without comsuming breaths, since Endowment's power doens't flow throught metal like Ruin's and Preservation's...
  12. Perhaps with pratice he could decrease air pressure( and resistence) to fly faster?
  13. Yes, but that was Hoid. He is, like, everywhere.
  14. Also, Vasher showed in Warbreaker that it is possible to use auto-awakening to erase memories. Perhaps it is possible to use it to reprogram your spiritweb? For exemple, faking a connection with a selish region to use its magics?
  15. Yes, your turn.
  16. The light ever distant shines in a forgotten home, Where the still waters are as changing as change iself, And on blackened lands we mourn the end Of our people, long extinct, And our revival, wrought by sin. There, I, unchanging change, There, I, seeking my end, I dared to break the eternal bond, To live, to learn, from ever changing change. And I know, that it will be my end.
  17. Blue? They have stonelike nails, but it is the Natam that have blueish features. And the Aimians.
  18. Perhaps they work with whoever holds them, but allowing surgebinding and changing eye color are not the same thing. Szeth's eyes change when he summons his blade, but no mention is made of them changing when he surgebinds with it unsummoned. Maybe you have to be bonded to gave eye color changes, but not to surgebind.
  19. Denied, because you didn't wish away my bane. I wish to not receive any bane for this non-wish or just becase.
  20. Vin's earring?
  21. 4) Taln had his Honorblade swapped before going to Kholinar. 5) Taln was somehow forcibly unbound to his Honorblade, and they only change your eye color when you are bound to one of them. Explains why he just lugged it around instead of unsummoning it. Unlikely, but who knows?
  22. First Truthwatcher, with 88-84%. Second Elsecaller, with 74-58%. Third Lightweaver, with 47-34%. Not surprising, I always liked logic and being alone behind the scenes. I am artistical, but also have a highly analitical mind. And I am closer to Renarin than to Jasnah when it comes to personality. Not that any of them is much like me.
  23. When you call your orange juice weak(er) orange wine.
