  1. Granted. However he swears the unhallowed anti-oath of "Death is my life, strenght becomes my weakness, the journey has ended" Founding the supervillain group know as the Nights Unrepentant. I wish to know how the spiritual realm looks like without dying.
  2. Shallan?
  3. Yes. Your turn.
  4. Kaladin and Jasnah... I never considered it, but that does sound a good fit. I still prefer my Szeshonai crack ship.
  5. Even worse, before they entered the building with the mechanism to activate the oathgate, Renarin said the winds were blowing in the wrong direction and name dropped the Everstorm. Then, Pattern said the stormform Parshendi were creating a storm that would blow in the wrong direction. Really, it wouldn't be too hard to connect the dots Shallan. Actualy, it is probaly better she didn't notice, since knowing Shallan she would think he made a pact with the voidbringers or was cursed by the Old Magic or something, being as impulsive as she is. Not unforgivable, but did make me lose interest in a potential Shallan/Adolin relationship until further character development on her part. The brothers just care so much about one another.
  6. Nightblood is a longsword that bleeds black smoke and is terribly eager to obey its command of destroying evil, but being a sword it is very bad at grasping morality and very good at grasping destruction. It used to belong to Vasher, who:
  7. That shardblade is not a spren, it is Nightblood, a magicaly created weapon of mass destruction from Warbreaker, set in a completely diferent planet. But you are right, Skybreakers bond Highspren.
  8. Plus, I doubt an important character would break the fourth wall in a mostly serious work. Plus, Brandon probably has completely rewritten Dragonsteel, Liar of Partinel and Lightweaver of Rens, so they are not very relevant to speculation.
  9. When you invent an inovative and awesome magical sistem, but discover that it is essencialy essence marks.
  10. I believe she was soothed instead. Remember that at first she felt suspicius, perhaps even afraid of Hoid? He probably soothed her fear so they could talk. This reminds me of Vin feeling something was wrong about Hoid and deciding to not speak with him. Perhaps this hints that something about Hoid is unnatural? He said he was at first an idea and that Fleet was as real as him, wich leads me to my pet theory that Hoid is somehow artificual, like a robot or an illusion given life or was forged from pure investiture into a human form somehow.
  11. Up to a certain point, yes, but they can't truly turn them off, only filter them, so something big and sudden like a wound can't be filtered. Plus, turning off the tin to avoid the pain would only work if the blow was expected to hit, and starting to burn it again before the wound fully healed would cause imense pain.
  12. Maxal, I am talking about what he said way before the screaming. Especificaly, he said the wind was blowing in the wrong direction, and name dropped the Everstorm, just before Pattern said the voidspren were weaving a storm, that would blow in the wrong direction.
  13. Yet a single punch or cut is painful enough to make a savant get to the brink of unconciousness, so a tin savant is pretty much made of glass.
  14. She didn't even notice that when Pattern spoke of two storms colliding Renarin had already said that before. I mean, we are supposed to accept that Jasnah's ward can't put 2+2 together?
  15. I am the announcer, of the souless death, I am the keeper, of the blasphemous hoard, I am the bringer of war, in name of home, I am the denial, of the denied gift, I am unreachable, none can imprision me, I was decieved, yet my slayer is now beside me, And now I walk the land, I am the blasphemous pupil, the denied gift.
  16. Double post. Sorry.
  17. Szeth didn't do evil to atone. He did it for the right to burn in damnation eternaly instead of having his soul destroyed. He did it because the stone shamans told him to, and he was brainwashed since birth to obey them, no matter what. He did it because to admit that he didn't have to would be the same as admiting that all he was told to believe, all that he ever knew, was a lie.
  18. Spook in Hero of Ages could dodge enemy blows by feeling the change on the airflow. Of course, he was also so sensitive he could be downed by a papercut.
  19. Yes, I believe. Your turn.
  20. I bear the weight of the millenia long past, I bore the ember of the millenia yet to come, And though I was the last one, in the holy path, I have know this world, more than once, undone My crown is one of wisdow, sought by gods and kings, My mantle is of memory, stretching lifetimes long, My scepter is of chaos, dissident from my kin, And I was an herald, of our dearest doom, For I, the first to see the promise to be free Was too late to stop its lies. Little I knew, the promise was me.
  21. Kelsier?
  22. The Almighty?
