  1. Now that would be nice... for Brandon to see if he can write horror. I for one want to see Redin, the half-eyed bastard, as an interlude character. I still think he will become a minor-character Radiant.
  2. I think it was refuted by WoB, if there was ever a WoB about it.And some posts above: Nohadon never spoke directly of the Parshendi. I think you mean Gavilar's scholars.
  3. Nah, he was just about destroying. It is just that he liked more being a hero than a monster. And reason he is worshiped, the one unambinguously good thing he did, is not his killing of nobles, but his dedication to give hope to others.
  4. I think Cultivation's, or even Honor's investiture would be able to do it on itself. There is nothing inherently honorable about wind after all.
  5. Well, at least with Wayne he has a very good excuse.
  6. Which is not that good a goal anyway. I mean, it is barely a step above "Hello, do you want to destroy some evil today?" in terms of moral maturity in my opinion.
  7. I am not sure what you mean. As far as I am aware, when people die in the cosmere, with some exceptions, they hang around in the Spiritual and Cognitive Realms for some time and then their mind goes to the final afterlife beyond the Realms and the investiture of their spiritweb gets recicled.
  8. Sounds like Brandon with a touch of soap opera and much more confusion about who is against or working with who.I need to find time to read Brent Weeks. Now, if I wrote the Cosmere novels I doubt I would write more than two books in my lifetime. But if I did: Now, for an actual author, I'd bet that if Machado de Assis(search for him on wikipedia, you wont regret) wrote the Cosmere before fantasy was even a thing, the books would be in first person, unreliably narrated by Hoid, and he would be a possibly insane, but mostly harmless, hypocite. And until this very day people would be guessing if Rayse was real or a creation of Hoid's mind.
  9. You get a paid vacation with Koloss warlords, you brute! *inserts a sword broken by the Blackthorn.*
  10. Now that is something I didn't think about. Maybe we just found the dawnshards?More seriously, maybe he can only become a single super shardblade, and he chooses when, so the oathbreaking didn't leave Stormblades around because he survived.
  11. Mine too, and I am a portuguese speaker. The two languages would be different dialects of the same if they were more similar, yet I just can't understand one of them.
  12. Well, WoR talked about Adonalsium's touch and design, implying a sentient mind. And Brandon using "he" does not prove much, since people often to default to male pronouns.
  13. And on the Mistborn Space Age books, he will be a main character too.
  14. I've read neither, but I bet the Spoiler is related to Spook.
  15. Actualy, metric is better. It is clearly easier to convert between different scales, since it uses multiples of ten. Many of its units are also based on objective physical properties of substances. And when you are measuring big or small things, a system based on estimatives gets less useful, even when those things are not big or small to the point you need scientific notation.EDIT: Plus, that is not the main argument anyway. It is the rebuttal to the argument that the Imperial System is better for daily life.
  16. I won't update The List anymore until I've read the book. Sorry.
  17. I am sure there are spren in Shinovar, even if they are very rare. A shin scholar whose work Shallan was studying recorded the appearence of gravityspren near heavy objects.Plus, Rysn knew very little about Shinovar by the time that interlude took place.
  18. Even then, using Celsius for the temperature of the human body isn't thst hard, as it is generaly a little above 36°C and doens't vary much.
  19. OK, to The List it goes!
  20. Well, lawful evil people could be willing to kill someone they considered uninportant to keep order. The point of the original post was that by breaking the bond, the spike would become normal metal and the oathbreaker would die from having the heart impaled.EDIT: Above poster: I doubt a Skybreaker would do so, since a Radiant on the Death Row would be needed, and the Skybreaker would need to be legaly allowed to drive giant spikes throught people's hearts.
  21. Water is much more important to people than what that silly Fahrenheit choose as the basis of his system.
  22. We should make a list of who is Trell. So far the candidates are:1. Trell. 2. Nalt. 3. Bavadin. 4. Kelsier. 5. Saze. 6. Good Ol' Rayse. 7. Ruin, or a splinter. 8. Hoid. 9. Adonalsium. 10. Anti-Adonalsium. 11. Negative Adonalsium. 12. Inverse Adonalsium. 13. Reverse Adonalsium. 14. The Doctor. 15. The Master. 16. Time Traveling Adonalsium. 17. Zombie Adonalsium. 18. Rubix. 19. The Spanish Inquisition. 20. Kaladin. 21. Renarin. 22. Voidus. 23. Morzathoth. 24. The Iluminati. 25. Aliens. 25b. Dragons 26. Southern Scadrialians. 27. Spook. 28. The Beard of the poster below. Someone else?
