  1. You say you know it's a scam. And yet you unvoted Coffee just now barring a cc, ask me what my hypothesis is, and revote Coffee and tell me you know it's a scam. Why would a cc even remotely be a wild hope? You were hoping to push the person who cced you, Coffee Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is paid.
  2. Sorry Coffee. I'll grant you you might very well flip blue but I think red is a decent call here Aeo, I think it should be perfectly obvious right now. I've said it enough times that I don't know how I can say it any plainer, given I've repeatedly outright said it: Coffee is an Elim hiding behind a BS claim - she slipped when we applied pressure to her, and panic-claimed BS to hide. This explains why she made the progression from dangling ("hey I'm not Brandon but you guys will want me around") to ("okay okay I'm Brandon!") when it was near the start of the cycle. It was always meant to be a lure for us. This explains why she's calm now despite the votes, because she believes claiming BS will protect her. It won't She cannot address any point of suspicion against her at all without AtE or hugging the BS claim like a safety blanket. All she can do is insist again and again she is BS. She insisted she is waiting for Elims to cc her when it is objectively insane for an Elim to be willing to do so because this likely leads to their death and unnecessary exposure. She is pushing Neil, who by right, is a SK candidate for many. Despite thinking that an Elim would cc her, she is now creating all sorts of excuses to explain why I am pushing her, here and now, despite that being also objectively insane for V!Kas, and sticking to SK!you despite the fact that it would be an instant loss for SK!you to vote her here. Her worldview doesn't match up. It's very much a scam, I'm afraid.
  3. The experiment is called see how deep the red you flip is I think it should be peer-reviewed, and I'd like some additional hands here.
  4. Oh, I see. Challenge accepted. @neil the beguiled @Ooklil the Wei @Winnie the Pookla @Ookla the Bald Care to join me in a little experiment for science? Let's see how Coffee likes additional votes.
  5. Why do you panic when double-voted on, enough to claim and beg for an additional cycle, but are now strangely understanding of my vote on you, Coffee?
  6. Why would SK!Aeo jump on you with a vote? If I'm voting you, I'm arguing you are Evil and BSing us. I've explicitly named what you've done an Elim-about-to-die progression. SK!Aeo voting you is certifiably bonkers because that's how she loses this game. I'd expect Coffee normally expects to counterpush me here, but it's a bit awkward when I pressured and led to the exe/deaths of two Elims last cycle.
  7. I still don't see an answer to the questions I'm asking, Coffee Again, you are more interested in not being exed than solving. You panic despite it being early in the cycle, not even twenty four hours. You claim that you are alright with being exed at lylo under pressure, which indicates your honest priorities are not Village but are survival. I continue to repeat these points. The fact your only defense is to hide behind a BS claim is powerfully indicative you don't have anything here. Edited to add: I'm very interested in Coffee's answer to this question. Thank you, Eiwlil.
  8. Sorry, but that's not what you said under pressure. You expressed a desire to live to next cycle and were fine otherwise. Calling BS on it. How would I kill you 'right that moment', Coffee? Until I voted you at Rollovet, you had a maximum of two votes, tied with the other lead train. Why are you so defensive and hypersensitive when the cycle wasn't even over? Why should you panic when it was so early on that it could be easily resolved when you get back?
  9. You shouldn't disrespect your mother like that, Coffee. You still don't have an answer for: 1. It being a classic Elim-about-to-die progression. 2. The fact that as Brandon Sanderson, you should be viscerally Not Okay with dying at lylo because your team loses. Your priorities are askew. Edited to add: Oh, it is a BS claim. The fact that Coffee cannot provide any last defense of V!Coffee apart from claiming BS and is now trying to AtE makes it a BS (hi Wormmon!) claim.
  10. You weren't preparing to post. You were waiting and lurking for Brandon Sanderson to cc you, given everyone has shown up and asked for a cc if one exists. Expecting an Elim to cc you is not intuitive here: And yet, you said this, as though you were preparing to be cced and to need to shade anyone who applied pressure to you for the Sanderson claim: You are lurking, offering promissary notes, and refusing to solve, dribbling hints of your role, and only claiming Sanderson when you realised that your slip here didn't make any sense: Because there is no world in which any Villager, much less Brandon Sanderson, should be okay with being flipped at lylo, which indicates your desire is to buy time rather than sincere. This is an Elim-about-to-die progression right here. You were lurking, waiting to be called on it. Probably wondering why no one did, despite the inherent absurdity of being alright with being flipped at lylo but not now. For clarity: Coffee.
  11. You know what's wrong, Coffee You've been lurking in thread all day. You weren't 'about to post.' I've watched your status lurk and never blink to typing at any point
  12. Sorry on mobile so quoting is borky. 1. Fair enough! 2. Yeah just impulse sigh. 3. Fair I guess it's just alien to me as a mindset. Even when I'm 3p I always want town to win. I guess I take your point anyway — just regard any credit as prima facie since Araris hasn't shown up yet. 4. Do you then think Araris or TKN bussed JNV?
  13. Hey Neil, you do run NKA as well, though granted in a different context. What's your view on the Aman shot? It's a major deviation from the past kill MOs IMO. Low key want to credit you for turning it down ;-; Depends right? SK is kill-proof. You get outed as the SK the next cycle, but say at 2/1/1, if Village exes you, it's...pretty much going to be an unholy mess. And the Elim will never be shot by the SK because that just guarantees a Village win and SK loss. Just kind of trying to understand what you mean by Devil's Advocating in this specific context. What's world of hedge mean? PoE is pretty powerful yeah. I'm really hoping to be able to narrow mine down a bit more as I go back and forth questioning my thoughts, though hopefully not as aggressively as back when I pushed JNV
  14. Oh I know, I guess... Is it a MU/FR/chat mafia thing? To not instantly kill a sub? (It's not true here so I think I got a bit confused True story - my shortest stint as a sub was a couple hours because they PHed me in during the Night, I immediately picked a fight with the vig, and the vig vigkilled me. Fastest case of town-on-town violence ever ) You confused Raven and Ravenclaw and tried to clear me off the basis of my pointing out that Raven was a BM kill for any regular player. I'm - I think it's pretty complex to reason out but it feels telling to me that you were confused between them as I kinda think E!Neil would be more clear about who his team was murdering? Sorry, how so? Why Illwei? SK-wise, I think it's a fair reason: the two kills demonstrate the SK was tracking the thread late. I think there's fair reason to say that's less likely of Illwei as Alpha was extremely absent. Also wb man, I am not fully sold on SK you or E you and I am hoping interacting with you more will help me nail down my reads
  15. I only chose to intervene publicly in the Watchman discussion because A. it's a fairly complex role in terms of interactions with drunkenness/poisoning, and B. it's clear the Village was choking on the crunch this Turn and that's not the point of this BT. Drake and I are not planning to spell everything out, but we definitely want to get you past the crunch hump so you are all not derailed by it. Edited to add: This is a bit too heavy into the details of Watchman mech - we'd prefer this goes back to the own role policy.
  16. The question assumes when drunk, we select for what Wiz was supposed to see first in terms of category. Let's just say the category doesn't come first in the RNG process when drunk.
  17. I'll specifically clarify this one because I think it's confusing people more while Drake is working on a more elegant set of clarifications. The issue isn't so much who we show you - it's what category we mark you as having 'seen' on that particular Night, which affects the overall set of people you receive. By right, Watchman normally ends up with <Villager, Darkfriend, Forsaken> by Night 2. If poisoned or drunk on any one night, this could result in a set containing, say two Villagers and a Darkfriend.
  18. It's in the clarifications.
  19. Oh my God no it doesn't! Did Drake and I put a bunch of drunks/poisoners in this distro 'cause y'all spreading misinfo like the latest TikTok viral trend No.
  20. Yes, tell me about it Literally frontloaded it to make it easier, used italics... Dear Christ.
