Well because I can advise the queen to fight solely for you, she usually listens to my advice. Really though, even if you are leader of a pack you should refrain from raising your voice at the empress. My Empress, the barony has already sided with the factions opposed to the DA I would recommend either neutrality or joining in the crusade. Joining in the crusade is obviously more interesting.

I've seen the pack for sitting around for a while, could be an interesting faction, miss the old days, the good old wars between NC and the 17 realms...ah the good old days. Need the time and a new nemesis and then maybe some real life could get back in here.

I read the first Homecoming, and I really didn't like it. Part of it is that the book is very clearly a sci-fi retelling of the first part of the first book of scripture in the Book of Mormon and personally it kinda blasphemous which is funny since I don't have that problem with Noah(which has issues but not those) or any of the other works in similar forms. Aside from that...it was just the kind of Card book that I don't like and most of you who have read Card probably get that haha.

Finally finished Hunter X Hunter a little while back. Great show, some of the arcs cough chimera ant cough were much too long and dragged but over all it was great and I really enjoyed the final arc. I'll probably watch the movie that comes after in a while, but probably not soon. Also My Little Monster was amazing, but there was no ending!!!! I hate it when anime/manga schedules mess with each other...

Agreed. The "magic" is interesting, the indians too, but I haven't loved the series. I'm generally in a love hate relationship with Card. I love Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow as well as the two empire books, but a lot of his other books.... can't even describe how I feel except that it's negative haha.

I'm going to be getting a boat load of books next time I go to the library as I've got a long list of holds. Several Modesitt's, The Tales of Alvin Maker: Heartfire, and going to try out some Mercedes Lackey.

I voted Straff. He's probably the most all around horrible person we've seen, and while the king from Elantris was pretty bad Straff is worse in my opinion. That being said, Brandon doesn't usually delve into the evil of his worlds like other fantasy authors do, so honestly I can see there being worse people who either haven't been on screen or their actions haven't.

I really liked Assassin's Apprentice, book two was sooooooooooo unbelievably hard for me to finish though. I know many people love Hobb, but I couldn't stand book two and haven't been able to bring myself to pick up another book by her. Hope you enjoy it though.

"Lords, Ladies, and Royalty, I have a composition to recite to you." *Clears throat* If I were to build a tower upon which to sit, it would be a grand tower, an ingenious tower, a childish tower, and truly an ugly tower. I would not build it out of adult materials but the cinder blocks and concrete bars that children use. Blankets, chairs, and pillows. The pillows would be sprayed out in a messy base measured just so that I might have the joy of falling on them with a plop. The chairs of every shape I could find, brought from Neverland and the 100 Acre wood, forming a thin trunk of wood that spread out as it grew taller like a tree. The blankets will hang and drape and dangle and grow and criss and cross and fall down in every way I can get them to. Of course once the weather gets cold some of them will turn into pillows and fall down to the base forming an even thicker pile to burrow into. The quilts will be hammocks, thin fleeces will be twisted into rope bridges, and the comforters will be trampolines stretched out high over the ground. The whole thing will stick together through the dreams and imaginations of friends and the energy of sunlight and giggles, and atop it all will be a diving board soaking up all the lunar rays and nightmares so that I can use them to get some extra lift as I jump up into the sky. (I had to do an assignment using imagery for ap english and this is what I did. Felt proud of it so here you go )

Get through the rest of WoT first. New Spring was fine I guess, but it doesn't add that much to main story or anything. It's a prologue that takes place like 20 years(Don't actually know how long before it is, it covers a fair amount of time I think. It's been a long time....) before Eye of the World.

Half-eyes(? what's the term for this?) might be nahn automatically instead of dahn. I mean they're obviously not acceptable in society so they might have been relegated to the lower caste. I haven't read WoR in a long time so I don't remember tons about this specific area.
