  1. Waiting for Adele's new album, that single she released....dang, that was good.
  2. Well, put Bobby Dollar down after the first page. Those who enjoyed the Dresden files would probably really enjoy it, assuming you're cool with language. Speaking of Dresden, I finally picked up the second and third books. I'm enjoying Fool Moon, a lot more comfortable with it than I was with the first book.
  3. I found a copy at a library yesterday!!!! I was in a rush, but I read the bonus scene. I've stalked this thread enough to basically know what happened, but it was really really good to get to read it myself.
  4. We could use a google doc like SE, couldn't we?
  5. The Name of This Book is a Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch series is pretty good.
  6. I'm gonna watch the pilot....eventually. I'm watching Flash 2 and Arrow 4 on CBS's site, so I don't have a lot of extra time for a third show.
  7. The Lords of Chaos returned. Upvotes to those who've been around enough to understand that reference
  8. I have to agree on Nightmare before Christmas, it fits in thematically very well.
  9. So what ever happened to 17th shard movie night?
  10. Finished Throne of Jade this afternoon. I really enjoyed it, although the sailor's cussing did get out of hand once. It was a one time thing, that didn't feel out of place at all in the setting, but if the later books get worse than I'll stop reading the series. I picked up The Dirty Streets of Heaven by Tad Williams at the library the other day. I've tried several of Tad's series, and aside from Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn I haven't come close to even finishing one. I did love that trilogy, but I don't have high expectations for Bobby Dollar.
  11. I'm loving Tales of Zestiria The prologue was slow, but it gave me the time to customize the basic setups so that was nice. It's picked up very nicely and flowing pretty well at this point now. The open world is really good, although not as good as Xenoblade's. There's an amazing amount of customizable outfit stuff for the characters that i was not expecting.
  12. My math desk....
  13. *Starts singing Jak'o'the Shadows*
  14. I've never loved The Emperor's Soul, unlike most other people who've read it, so I do find it somewhat over rated. I think that the Legion and Alcatraz books do get acknowledged as excellent most of the time, but don't get talked about very often.
  15. Two thirds done with Arrow season 3. Ya'll are definitely right, it's not as good. I have really enjoyed Thea and Roy this season though. Laura I still can't stand, same with Nyssa and Lance half the time. Felicity and Diggle have both been really boring/repetitive, and Oliver moves between fantastic and blehhhh. Willa Holland, I love you girl
  16. Umphhff, the dentist is not fun... At least my obsessive brushing has done good.
  17. Happy Back to the Future Day!!!!
  18. I've recently gotten a huge crush on Tina Majorino. I'm not sure if she could do action, kick chull, Vin, but the other half I can really see and would love to see.
  19. My family has preordered our tickets for Star Wars. We got the first possible showing, on the first day. The hype is strong in the house.
  20. I too don't want or see Eshonai becoming a radiant, I'm hoping she becomes a PoV voidbinder. I really want Rlain to become a Radiant as well.
  21. I really, really liked it. This may be partially to do with my just ending relationship, and really liking the Peter/Gwen, so I might be more emotionally attached to it than it maybe deserves. It's at least a good movie, probably not a great one though.
  22. Is that a reference to a certain family in the FMA series?
  23. I finished His Majesty's Dragon and started its sequel. I also finished Moving Pictures, so I'll probably do either Pyramids or the Hogfather next as I bought those on Audible a while ago.
  24. Wasing the speaking of the slanging afore was cooling. Reckoners of the Rebelling notting of the working. Wasing the irony of thought.
