In the past is there a standard time before the release of the game where they confirm the starter's evolutions? Or do they release the game, and people find out via playing?

Who is the bigger cremling?
Pathfinder replied to Assassin in Burgundy's topic in Stormlight Archive
That is why I said actual action vs potential consequences. As far as we know since the desolation is coming, it could have been in a large part due to their actions. Right now we just don't know what brought on the latest one. What we do know is Amaram and the Sons of Honor want the desolation to happen so the heralds return, and would legitimize their take on their religion, returning it to power. So while Sadeas wants his own little corner of the world for power for powers sake, Amaram is pretty much wanting the apocalypse to occur so he can say "i told you so" lol. -
Well wiggling around on a planet you are invested on might be easier than traveling to another system within the cosmere to affect it. But this is all conjecture on my part, and due to the heralds not upholding the oathpact he could be wiggling on around to other worlds like you said lol.

But didn't the oath pact then lock him down on Braize? There is a WoB somewhere that says the Heralds didn't break the oathpact as much as they thought they did.

Who is the bigger cremling?
Pathfinder replied to Assassin in Burgundy's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well it is difficult. Do we talk about actual actions or potential consequences? Sadeas leaving a battle, in other words just doing nothing, resulted in a many men's lives lost. Amaram is consciously attempting to restart the desolations and bring back the voidbringers which is an extinction level event. Sooooo....... -

Personally why I am not continuing this discussion at this time, is regarding my repeated statement that I would prefer it when we have all the facts listed and able to reference. Otherwise it is just opinions going back and forth. This is not a personal attack, but as you stated, you remembered the scene incorrectly. It is hard to have a discussion over something when two parties cannot agree on the basest of points "what is being discussed". This thread was in regards to adolin's fate, not the legality nor morality of what Jasnah did. You mentioned that Brandon said her action was far worse than Adolin's but did not provide the WoB to back it up. So I have to take your statement at face value. You stated Jasnah did not know the thugs nor their situation. Again I either take your statement at face value, or I do my due diligence, and reference the scene. That is what I am going to do in the thread I am working on. I replied to your post regarding it in this thread, because you misrepresented the information from the scene as a reason that Jasnah is worse than Adolin. Where it becomes an issue is when it devolves into focusing over Jasnah's legality and morality, and the whole topic regarding Adolin is forgotten. That is why I am stopping. I would rather us discuss topics with facts, and then state our own opinions on it, than talk about scenes we paint in our own minds different ways. Game of Thrones is a prime example. Everyone loved the scene at blackwater with Tyrion in the show. I hated it. I hated it because The scene played out differently in my minds eye than apparently the director of the show. The scene with Jasnah played out in one way in your mind because of your own prejudice regarding the topic. Same thing with me. It is only through the examination of the scene verbatim, can we begin to derive anything to discuss. What I always find ironic about this whole subject, is I utterly and completely abhor gun violence. If it was up to me, we shouldn't be able to carry private guns at all. At its basest, that is what this scene is. A vigilante walking around with a concealed pistol, waiting for someone to start something so they can unload. But we are spoiled in this case. We know the situation. We know the internal thoughts of the actor (Jasnah). We know the history of the criminals. And we were "there" so we know how the crime took place. All these things we normally never know. Normally we go on physical evidence and witness testimony and then we guess what is the most likely. Now you could argue that Jasnah is a faulty narrator. You could say she lied about everything. There was no history of murders, the king never attempted to apprehend and then hang these individuals. But what you cannot do, is when in Shallan's head, claim she is lying to the amorphous reader when she reacts to these men bent on killing her. So there has to be some level of facts in which we can base our assertions on, otherwise what are we discussing? We went back and forth over this topic on three or four other threads now, over the same exact pieces of information regarding the same exact assertions. You stated this is not a tear the shirt issue for you, but this is clearly important enough to you to persist in the topic time and again. As it is for me. Which is why I am going through the effort the few moments each day I have, to research and put together that thread. I think you, I, and everyone would benefit from such a thread. So when I say i'm leaving the topic, it isn't because things got offensive, or problematic. It is because I feel we reached the end of the discourse at this point in time. We have both said all we can say on the subject. Now its just repetition. and I feel it takes away from whatever thread it pops up in when that subject was not the subject of the thread itself. Basically I took a very long way to say, talk to you later lol

I think this goes back to what was mentioned earlier about having more information and it not being out of character for her. Personally I think had Way of Kings ended with Jasnah killing the criminals, and saying to Shallan to think on that, without any confirmation that 1. she is a radiant, 2. WoB that what Adolin has done would be acceptable by other orders, and 3. That she is actively working to discover the voidbringers to prevent their return, then I believe people would be head long 99 percent thinking she is working for the big bad. But in fact we know the radiants have to follow their oaths in order to still be a radiant. We see Jasnah is still a radiant, so she did not break her oaths. Adolin is a similar situation in it involves murder, and Brandon said other orders would be cool with it. The very orders that oppose Odium. And finally like I said, her entire arch is her researching to prevent the voidbringers from returning which is Odium's main representatives. Based on what we know about Jasnah, it wouldn't make sense to think she is going to work for Odium. Could something happen to change that? Sure! But with the information we have right now that isn't likely. With the information we have regarding Adolin, we have no idea. Once we get to see Adolin more after the situation, or even a WoB then I am sure the theories about him being Odium's champion will die down. The less info you have, the more theories will pop up.

That is verifiably incorrect. For 2 months they have killed people on three separate occasions. The guard and the king have full knowledge of the occurrences as the king himself has looked into the matter and attempted to resolve it but was blocked by an influential lighteyes. Shallan also commented on how the crimes they committed to the individuals they committed it to is punishable by death. There is no going back for these men. They are already marked for death for crimes they committed in the past. They have a history of murder. And if you re-read the scene, this isn't a crime gone wrong. These are men taking pleasure in the goal of ending these women's lives and taking all they have. This is why I am working on that thread. I am just sorry it is taking me so long to gather everything I want to gather to make a clear, fully factual, and informed thread to discuss this topic on. I still need to gather the laws of various states mentioned in the other thread, as well as cite references of in world laws. edit: just in case to be clear, i was not implying you were being duplicitous. I merely stated the clear fully factual and informed comment, because I am posting the full passage, as well as the laws of those states, and the laws in the books. Then at the end i would provide my own interpretation, but all of that would be present for anyone to reference and interpret as they see fit instead of having to go based on memory.

Harmony is really dumb. [Bands BoM, SoS and AoL spoilers]
Pathfinder replied to Nepene's topic in Mistborn
The kandra are actively working behind the scenes. Where can you cite conclusively that only what we have seen in the books is the full extent of what Harmony is doing and has done to combat this entity and prepare the people of Scadrial to fight it? Your premise is all he has done is send Lessie to Wax to get him to work for him. Was Harmony just twiddling his fingers during the other 250 years prior to Wax's birth? I think not. You do not know how it could be had the Set not been opposed all this time. You also do not know how long the Set has been in existence since Harmony took up the shards. -
