  1. Granted, but it's in your least favorite field. I wish that Bayformers had never happened. Or rise of the dark spark. And Hasbro was having Guillermo del Toro do GOOD movies with the Transformers.
  2. Crap. Now I can't stop thinking of a Master Chief-Luke Skywalker-Szeth brawl. Darn.
  3. I have another random question that I've been wanting to ask for a while. How do shardblades interact with electromagnetic fields, plasma, and energy? If Master Chief was on Roshar with an energy blade, how would he stack up with a full shardbearer? I should probably get off the Master Chief Collection...
  4. Have you seen what soul casting fabrics do to non-radiants? Channeling so much storm light will turn them to stone.
  5. Yes, but soulcasting living matter is INCREDIBLY inefficient - it uses up too much stormlight to be a viable battle strategy. The limit to soulcasting revolves more around stormlight usage than anything else. Jasnah soulcasting the mugger caused multiple gems to explode. If Radiants have gemhearts (which I think they do), oversoulcasting could cause fatal trauma by way of their chest exploding.
  6. Probably Immortality. Then, I'd finally be able to dedicate the time necessary to get past the first level of Dark Souls. Yes, I'm terrible at that game.
  7. The big issue with analyzing the long-term death rattles (like #35) right now is that we don't quite know where they apply. Stormlight Archive is going to be split into two arcs, so it's possible that all of these death rattles only apply to the current 5-book arc. There are a couple of possibilities. In the first one, Odium is going to "win" and plunge Roshar into darkness, but the new Radiants will fight back in the second arc and incapacitate him. In the other one, the new Radiants repel the current attack, but have to surrender Roshar to bind Odium and protect the rest of the Cosmere. I'm leaning to the first scenario myself, but the second one could be possible.
  8. My bad, was reading on my phone.
  9. Granted. Kesier kills you. I Want A Computer That'll run Crisis at 8k. And pay off my mortgage with bitcoins.
  10. Replied a bit late. @rabitt: Okay, but you get this guy: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/worst-lawyer-defense-attorney-sleeps-trial-article-1.1459210 @Sanderfan Okay, but you'll never wake up, and will have a super creepy insidious-style nightmare/coma. I wish that I would find a "you won $100,000" pop-up that actually gave me $100,000 instead of a computer virus.
  11. I'm not even mad! Maybe in the future, I'll be able to afford a computer that'll run Crisis. Or turn myself into a robot, or something. I'd at LEAST be a rockstar historian! @Joe You get transported to Pluto I want free Ben and Jerry's icecream for life (specifically half-baked). Throw in Starbucks as well.
  12. You're Pink now. I just want Firefight to come out already.
  13. Sorry, I misspoke slightly - it's one of the theories. My bad. I can't find the original thread, I searched around, but all I found were my replies supporting the theory :/ To be fair, I'd be perfectly fine with Nergaoul going on a murderous rampage as well. I want to see the voidbringers start bringing the void! Hopefully it won't be the main characters refusing to talk to eachother like in WoR. That would be sad.
  14. The current theory is that yelig-nar was in Gavilar's black sphere, which is why Szeth keeps hearing voices (that's how yelig-nar "talks").
  15. Am I the only one that's secretly hoping for Yelig-Nar to bust out of his prison in Jah Keved and go on a murderous rampage?
  16. Granted, but your skills are a little... RUSTY! Really bad pun there. I wish I had a Tesla.
  17. The feast? Oh, that's because of beards. Alethi hair has a remarkable consistency, and acts as an incredible flavor saver. It comes in handy when wearing shardplate.
  18. Actually, those sinews and other stuff inside of a gemheart are fiber optics cables. To promote the Knights Radiant, Tanavest started offering complimentary gigabit ethernet with the second oath. Odium is actually a future conglomerate of Comcast, Verizon, and other cable companies trying to keep Roshar offline. So when the voidbringers come and the lights go out, they're actually disconnecting the internet. STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE IS NET NEUTRALITY! Edit: Greatshells and other gemhearted creatures serve as public wi-fi.
  19. LEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOY JENKINS!!!!
  20. 1) Until more evidence surfaces in book 3, I am operating under the assumption that Helaran found the skybreakers and was working with them. Either way, it (almost) definitely wasn't the ghostbloods, as Amaram suspected. 2) If there was no evidence and no witnesses to what Amaram did, Nalan would not have had any legal proof (or possibly even known about it). He caught Lift breaking into the palace during the selection phase for azir's leader, so he had plenty of reason to execute her (and was legally a constable). Same idea for Ym. I am saying that Nalan likely had no proof on Amaram, making war the only lawful way to quickly dispose of him. As for the legality of warfare, I'm going to say that it was legal for Helaran to kill. The Geneva Conventions state that the basic act of killing in war is legal, so it probably is on Roshar as well.
  21. Helaran was working for Nalan and the Skybreakers. If Amaram's leg was broken as badly as Kaladin said it was, it's likely that he has not actually participated in a (human vs human) battle since then, especially since he's now a shardbearer and started fighting the Parshendi. Since the Skybreakers are bound by the law, no subsequent attempt on Amaram's life could have been made lawfully. That's why he's still alive.
  22. Sheogorath Approves this Message. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcSY19994xc
  23. He'd be too busy looking for Slenderman and Jeff the Killer to check it often. Syl would go on ChristainMingle (or some other religious site) and try to convince everybody that she's a god.
  24. Lopen would have a great comedy channel. Rock and Lift would focus on food. Also, Adolin would specifically fail on Rainbow Road.
