  1. And so it came to pass that Kobold King posted a second Phineas and Ferb link, expressing the overall atmosphere and sentiments across the forum. We're going to war!
  2. I suppose the time has come for me to formally request sanctuary in thy Court. * eats another free snowcone. *
  3. * Helps himself to a free snowcone. * Hospitality? I confess I don't rightly understand what you mean.
  4. Hmmm... I thought this was a kingdom headed by the member named Observer. That could get confusing, as he is a fairly active, highly-ranked member... EDIT: Grey Pilgrim above me just pointed out the name similarity.
  5. 100th post? I've seen in-depth theories that didn't accumulate so many replies in such a short time. Truly you possess a gift, your majesty.
  6. I am among the Unaligned, the ostensible king of the kobolds who seeks diplomatic sanctuary in the houses of great rulers on the forum. Of late I have been residing within the Newcago Court, though I harbor the utmost respect for the Featherblades. The Shroomites, however, are one of the most vile and disgusting groups I have ever encountered during my years on the Internet. If thou art opposed to the fungus, than thou art my ally.
  7. Have you noticed anything odd about Zahel? We know some pretty breathtaking things about him, you could say.
  8. When such weapons are raised against men, the lives of NPCs become cheap things indeed.
  9. The traditional discourse of my people. We bark out our allegiances in italic and/or CAPS LOCK, and then proceed to rail on how much more awesome our sides are.
  10. His Majesty will pretend not to have heard that.
  11. His Majesty King Kobold, royal scribe and ostensible king of the kobolds, enters the room with a keen eye surveying the crowd. "Tut, tut. What a mess. What are we, a pack of spambots fighting in an unruly den? Let us take accurate note of our respective factions and move forward in a spirit of diplomatic etiquette and civilized discourse."
  12. Yes Lwd. I believe we get your point. (I love the sunglasses emoticon way more than I probably should...)
  13. As she has transmutated a castle of ice for herself... yes, I suppose she is cool.
  14. Darn. Now I'm feeling a bit like an enemy gate. (Read: down).
  15. Formic theories? (Ender's Game fan sniffs the air hungrily.)
  16. (sigh) Then it falls to me to break this war. Anyone here know an Idrian princess?
  17. That's a really cool idea. I don't think the Liar of Partinel sample chapter implies that kind of advanced technology, however. WoR spoilers
  18. By the Scroungers... we've been played for the Ten Fools. We have allowed enemies such as the duplicitous CrystalBodies and the diabolical Shroom to sow unrest within our ranks. Elsa Steelheart is not our enemy! Quiver is the wisest of us all, laying the groundwork of a grand alliance between the Featherblades and the Newcago Court.
  19. Ostensibly over the Kobolds, but in reality I have no kingdom of mine own. Perhaps some day I will write brilliantly clever essays or optimistingly cheerful posts, so that I will assemble my own legions of fans. Until such day as I rule as true king of the kobolds, I will content myself with service to the great ones of the forum. How might I be of service, oh great transmutating Elsa of the Steel Heart?
  20. Transmute means "to change in form, nature, or substance." So if you went about changing things into steel or ice, you'd be practicing transmutation.
  21. My heart is filled with rage. Quiver, the Betrayer, has gone astray. I urge you to appoint a new order of Feather Inquisitors, dedicated to the sole task of stamping out heretics and rival cults guilds.
  22. What is this? I don't even have a kingdom, yet already I have rebels? His Majesty is displeased. Some people have all the luck.
  23. Just so you know, Warbreaker is available for free on Brandon Sanderson's website.
  24. The Featherblades are a noble order of knights dedicated to the protection of one of the most popular moderators, FeatherWriter. I'm not one of the Featherblades, but I intend to join them. I have something they need. Something precious, something incredible. Not an object, but an experience. I know his secret. I've seen Insurrectionist Fungus read.
