  1. Here are a number of fanfic-fanfics written by various members of the RP, based on the prompt "What would (your characters) do if they went to the store specifically for Cocoa Puffs, which they had been craving, and saw they were out?" As things do on the Question thread, however, things tended to get a bit crazy from there...
  2. That's not a bad idea at all. Count me in favor.
  3. Dark!Paladin/Koschei would break Möbius' heart. And when you break Möbius' heart, Möbius breaks the space-time continuum.
  4. I think The Dalles would be a fine place to start. Have you read "What Happened in The Dalles" yet? Are you familiar with the general political climate of the city?
  5. Heh, that's pretty awesome. We should design a special medal for people who convince their friends or family to join WHIO.
  6. I think we should fanonize a romantic relationship between the Tidebreaker and this Epic OC, so we can ship ships.
  7. Granted? Your brain is constantly filled with perfect wishes, but you will be forbidden from asking any of them. I wish for a candy cane.
  8. Hmm... that was probably accidental. When I'm released from Quota's grip I'll cancel it out. I like him. Can he affect the molecular bonds in living things?
  9. A new Question thread, yay! May much planning and even more ponies come from this. To assist in the latter goal, I would like to christen the thread with a new pony. Fair warning, this pony's existence is a pretty major spoiler for Firefight. As for the question this Question got started with: Unicyclist/Ray. Uniray is my OTP.
  10. Three cheers for peer pressure! And if you don't cheer, all your friends will shame you into participating. Participating couples: Funtimes/Nathan Purple Phoenix/Saccharine Voidgaze/Al Lightwards/Lucentia Remington/Alice Möbius/Koschei Backtrack/MV Smokey/Storage Flashpoint/Edgerunner Aldo/Wes ...You know I almost think we should run with the contest idea. EDIT: Also, I just noticed we're on Page 100 of Question 5.
  11. Peter Ahlstrom said here that the screaming mentioned in the prologue didn't have anything to do with Epics developing powers. We're still foggy on the details, but it's pretty clear that Epics didn't appear until a year after Calamity.
  12. It's slowly dawning on me that TwiLyghtSansSparkles is poised to overtake my reputation level in a few months.

"I remember the time Oregon still exsisted. Who knew Epics would really come."

"Not that this is a bad thing. And I'm not just saying that because they're watching, ALWAYS WATCHING."

"Brandon did. That slontze didn't tell us that he was actually writing the future. He let us make ourselves into accomplices to the destruction of human civilization. And that's why it's now our responsibility to hunt him down and destroy him."

  13. Because we can all relate to his inner journey--initial confidence in who you are, followed by the world saying that you need to change. We all have a choice between bending ourselves to the will of society and accepting ourselves for who we really are. The Stick is the incarnation of staying strong and being true to yourself, and that struck a chord with readers. (Actually, I think it was just how hilarious that scene was. It was unexpected and absurdly humorous compared to the rest of the book, and so saying "I am a stick" started to become a favorite quote on the forum. One joke led to another, and an entire meme sprung forth from the one little scene. Such is the way of the Internet. )
  14. Now we just need to give Mailliw a bunch of pointed stares until he canonizes it.
  15. Oh I'll be fair. I'll be so fair none of you will stand a chance. (The more he uses his powers the more it lessens his prime invincibility, so he'll generally be confined to summoning things like guns or frying pans. You'll see soon when I post his bio.) And true. Backtrack only barely counts as an Epic, though. We need to introduce Flashpoint and Edgerunner so they can start dating, pronto.
  16. Um... yes? He'll have more precise limitations than "That One Guy," so don't worry. Yep! Probably Jingleberry too, though her appearances will be sporadic and she'll probably end up serving another Epic. (Because right now I don't have any Epics who serve another player's character.)
  17. I like the idea of this guy. He's pretty similar to Slaughterhouse and the Panda, but more refined and specific in his abilities. Have you got any ideas for his general personality or goals? Will he have a motif?
  18. Granted--but once you reach this day again, the timeline will reset to three years previously. You will spend the rest of eternity trapped in a three-year time loop, never capable of breaking free or progressing in your life. I wish to have a thick and bushy beard.
  19. I hope you realize that I'll read every Unicyclist post from now on imagining Vernon Dursley behind the mask. I'll let you know whether that's a bad thing. Anyway, message to the thread at large, I think I've got my Epic for Astoria planned out. I'm adopting one of the Epics from the "Ideas of Oregon" thread: "That One Guy," by TwiLyght.
  20. Oh c'mon! It was one time and that's all anybody can ever talk about! ... I mean, yeah. That'd be weird.
  21. That last one sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to see if it's available on Kindle. Upvote for you, an upvote for your sister, and an upvote for your brother. Since they don't have accounts I'll just have to give you one particularly enthusiastic upvote. Although... when I talk to cats I generally call them "little one." Does that make me as creepy to cats as Obliteration is to people? This is from that thread on the Reckoners board talking about how Calamity is set in Atlanta. Are you planning on having the Momentum Twins join the Coven after all, Voidus?
  22. Hey, I'd read it too. For that matter, I'd be happy to write it. (Am I the only one curious about the remaining 0.1% of romance novels TwiLyght thinks are as interesting as Möbius/Koschei shipping? )
