In honor of Corvallis and Rainmaker's eerie resemblance to Starlight Glimmer... Yes, there are only about five citizens in Corvallis. I didn't have time to create a unique OC for fifty thousand people.

C'mon, a character with no screentime who exists only to be shipped with another player character is really no character at all-- * Forrest Smith exists * Uh, never mind.

Lightwards is not allowed on coin dating sites. He is a known penny-pincher.

Let's just operate under the base assumption that no one's shipping Angel with anybody for at least another ten years.

You were born in the wrong time period, Twi. Nowadays Italians look like this. At least, I think they do? I don't get out of the house often.

Og så Night Hound døde. Last time I dreamed about meeting any of you guys, Chaos looked like David Bowie, Edgedancer was ludicrously buff, and Twi looked like Karen Gillan. If we combine that with Voidus' dream, then the forum has a very strange group dynamic indeed.

I don't think there's a specific mechanism that causes reincarnations to cause a Rending-like event. A reincarnation is simply a large expenditure of power, and we know that the more power an Epic uses, the greater the ensuing corrupting effect will be. Firefight after a reincarnation probably isn't any more violent than Firefight after a hard day of illusion-generating. Mit luftpudefartøj er fyldt med ål?

No double standard on my end. I oppose Sparkleglass as a ship almost as much as Vondra does, and I'm only more tolerant of Nathantimes because I have reason to believe Funtimes could change before they careen over the Creepiness Event Horizon. Also, awesome photo-editing-thing, Twi. Definitely fits Vondra.

Hrrm. Maybe. I personally dislike the ramifications of this theory, as I'd like to see David as an ordinary vanilla through all the books, but I suppose, technically, it's possible. Though the bulk of the evidence still points against it. Maybe Steelheart was actually a normal person who faked being an Epic through technology--and he was Prof's brother! (I clicked the word conspiracies several times before I realized it wasn't a link. )

If you're talking about the incident I think you're talking about, then the reason he said "you don't know they're an Epic yet" was because he was speaking at a signing in which he'd pledged not to spoil either Reckoners book. He answered "Firefight" at the later point in the signing in which he'd allowed spoilers. Also, you're thinking too narrowly. Mizzy could totally be the High Epic Cookiecutter in disguise.

But... but... he was gifted. What precisely in the last few chapters makes you think he could be an Epic?

Gosh darn it. I ran into the quota. It's a lot like running into a wall, but more painful. "Sigh. I understand. Maybe... maybe someday we could get together and hate each other? It'd be my treat."

Two, if I decide to count ninja smilies in the quote boxes of your posts. "But... but... I worked so hard on my infuriated Epic voice. Can't you at least call me a meanieface? "

Maybe I should start counting how many ninja smilies you use in a day. And the first thing the guys do when you rescue them is ask for a Tenth Doctor costume, as if you have one just lying around.

It's not profiling. It's acting with the understanding that you post more "" smilies than anyone else on the board, and that this behavior could be considered... suspicious. Great. Now you're in for a bunch of guys pretending to be held captive by serial killers to gain your attention.

Your status as a liebrarian doesn't help me to believe that claim. The two of you seem to share a sense of humor, though that's to be expected. Have you met any of your boyfriends rescuing them from deranged gambler serial killers?

I'm still waiting to hear which character is closer to being Twi's author avatar--Funtimes or Koschei. If I had to guess I'd say Funtimes, but who knows what she does when she's away from her computer...

I thought Funtimes Chess introduced a new piece called the baker that just wanders the board passing out muffins.
