    I put that down to Szeth being a generally unbloodthirsty person. The massacres he committed were because he was told to, not because it was fun. Mr T. didn't tell Szeth to butcher everyone in his path when killed Dalinar, just that Dalinar had to die. Since that was then left up to Szeth, he was probably trying to avoid unnecessary deaths.

    She would, eventually, but the reason I selected Navani was because of the times you see her in true 'Mother Mode', like when Shallan and Kaladin come out of the chasms, and when she is talking to Shallan later saying hos she never got to be a proper mother to Jasnah. It sounded then like she may make a good Cultivation.

    Here's my crazy theory... Cultivation will die. Dalinar will become Honour, Navani Cultivation (although this may well change, not too sure if Navani is the right person for Cultivation).

    How do you figure this? Scadrial has two shardpools, one for Ruin, and one for Preservation. If Hoid is using the pools to travel, why not simply use one to hop to the other?

    This is why they needed the ten heartbeats to summon. It is basically waking the dead Blade to the point where it will manifest. This is half of the reason I believe Adolin will wake his Balde eventually. not only does he use the ten heartbeats, he then sits and talks to his Blade. Thinking about it, the gemstone in the Blade was added after the Radiants used them, seemingly as a focus for the bond between Shardblade and wielder. Adolin is going to need to have his gem shattered, I think, before his spren will truly wake.

Have an upvote to cancel out the downvote I gave you When I said that you were making assumptions about how not everyone wanted to read about Szeth, I was referring to this comment of yours: My comment about your Adolin obsession simply came from the number of posts I've seen from you about how Adolin should have their own book, and Adolin this, and Adolin that, and so on. Personally, I'm curious about Szeth himself. Yes, I'm interested in everything I mentioned in my previous post (which you quoted as being the bits that people are interested in in Szeth's flashbacks), but I'm also interested in finding out exactly what kind of person Szeth was before he was made Truthless. What kind of person goes out and commits all of those atrocities, to keep his personal honour intact, all because his leaders did not believe him when he warned of the Radiants' return? I'm expecting Szeth's back story to fill in, not just a lot about the world, but also a lot about who Szeth actually is. It's the same with Kaladin's and Shallan's flashbacks. Yes, it explained a lot about who they are, and what motivates them, but both flashbacks did quite a bit of worldbuilding.

    Thanks guys. I've already got Shallan's Shardplate sketch that is in WoR, which I can use for the base, but I guess I'll just have to figure it out from there.

    I watched the first season (or part of the first season, something like 11 episodes) in a single day when I found them all being broadcast, back to back, all day. on the whole, it was enjoyable, although there were some major facepalm moments (I'm a huge SW fan, or I was, and it makes me cringe to see some of the things Disney are doing).

    Just as the Knights were retrieving Windscar's bookcase from the stables, there was another crash. This one from inside the bookcase, sending it back to the floor. When they opened it, the Knights saw a pair of feet sticking out from the pile of books, and long strands of white hair sticking out all around them. The feet started to kick, so one of the Knights reached in and pulled the owner of the feet out. Bortholemew the Blind popped out and landed sitting on the floor. The heavily bearded midget looked up, straightened his spectacles, and scowled at everyone around him. "Another chulling Shardblade!" He announced to all in earshot. "I hate death by Shardblade, although this time I was technically crushed by falling rock, thanks to whoever had that chulling Shardblade. Bah, I need a beardnut." He pushed himself to his feet and shuffled off into the Knights Awkward Library in search of beardy goodness, muttering to himself about Shardblades, coinshots, and cowards.

    Sorry to disappoint Quiver, but unless something insane happens to the movie, we're not getting Deadshot back in Arrow. Such a shame as I agree, he developed into a brilliant character. I'd have liked to have seen him and Diggle working together in S4 going after HIVE. I'm another one who is very pleased to see they are bringing back Sara Lance, although I am curious to see how her time being dead changed her. I think my favourite episodes this season has to be the crossovers. I just love Diggle's reaction to seeing the Flash, and how Diggle and Sisko start taking bets on who would win in a fight, Arrow or Flash. Oh, speaking of Diggle, I did like his announcement for his superhero identity for S4. He is getting a helmet, and he will be called Black Driver.
