  1. You assume here that she did not immediately leave class to read the chapters as soon as she heard Renarin was in one. Apparently all of Tumblr is convinced that Adolin is Roy Mustang's clone (visually, at least). -This from what I can make of the sight. Honestly I feel like an old man whenever I try to navigate over there. EDIT: Wow, I double-posted. Haven't done that in a while.
  2. Well it's one thing to do terrible things to people, but cats...
  3. That's a bit freaky actually...
  4. No, I don't think so.
  5. *Really hoping Tor keeps to their usual update time, for his own sake if nothing else*
  6. As it turns out, an image search for a cat with a Hemalurgic spike piercing one of its eyes (not both, because you want to take advantage of the Tinsight) did not yield fruit. I compromised.
  7. Lol. "Termicatter" is new. I've heard Catterminator and technically it's supposed to be a Catquisitor.
  8. I like those. A lot. But I've had my cat for years now... If Windy couldn't stand simply changing the styling of his avatar, I don't think I stand a chance of changing mine completely.
  9. To be fair, the "no expansion" point will (finally) no longer be true within the next few weeks.
  10. None legally before the official release date, I don't think. Professional reviewers are not in the habit of releasing their copies to be pirated. EDIT: Oops, misread your post. See Shardlet down below.
  11. If Peng is Smoked in the night, then we'll just table the motion until he gets a more "provable" power, like Coinshot or Seeker. Not a huge loss there, I don't think. The biggest issue is potentially wasting our Lurcher for a few nights (though we probably have more than one of those, now that I think of it...), but with a crowd of 30 he doesn't have very good odds of saving someone at random anyways. @Barty Good point. Ahem. *Does not look at Mailliw* (or in the mirror) No one vouch for Peng unless you actually know that he's what he says he is.
  12. No ARCs for this book, sadly. The printing process is down to the wire, so even reviewers are getting eBooks/PDFs.
  13. So far as trusting Peng and PM'ing the roles go, I think I get the reasoning heree: If we do not kill anyone tonight, there can only possibly be 1 EVIL player among us in the morning tomorrow. If anyone vouches (or fails to call out (assuming the Seeker isn't randomly killed)) Peng, then we know that both of them are honest: otherwise, both would have to be Spiked, which we know to be impossible at that point. At that point, we know for a fact that Peng is the mistborn. We also know for a fact that he cannot be Spiked at any point for the rest of the game. At that point, the best course of action is essentially to give Peng an otherwise undue amount of power/knowledge. He'll be incorruptible in the truest sense of the word. If everyone PM's him their roles, then, he'll be able to know that something's fishy if 4 Rioters show up. Or he can ask the Coinshot to tell him who he plans to kill: so if the "Coinshot" says he'll kill Bob, and if Bob doesn't die, then he's lying about being the Coinshot and is obviously Spiked. Or the Lurcher (Lurchers?) can tell him who he/they are protecting: If a "Lurched" person lies, then that Lurcher was lying. Similarly with a lot of the other roles. This is especially powerful in conjunction with the Seeker, obviously.
  14. I would normally hesitate to attribute a non-mention of a glove to its non-existence (we don't say "A man walked down the street. He was wearing pants"), but you're right that the talk of "advantages" does seem to strongly imply that she needn't cover her safehand at all.
  15. Here's some (paraphrased) info on seasons: Source: EDIT: @Weiry You are correct.
  16. Polls can be made public (just tick the little "make votes public" box when you make it), and I was thinking just for the purposes of keeping track, not for the official tally necessarily. So anyone looking at the thread can tell the way the wind is blowing at-a-glance: everyone would still be posting their votes in red and green in their posts, they'd just edit their votes as well for everyone's benefit. It also saves them the wait for you/Aether to post an updated list, and, quite frankly, stops evil!Aether from "accidentally" miscounting something and so affecting how other people see the vote going.
  17. Well the allomantic chart is Brandon-approved/distributed, so I'd say that's a safe bet.
  18. Hmm... Turns out I was lying! It's actually a goldish color, if the allomantic table is to be believed:
  19. Nice. I think Lerasium is green, though? I don't have the book with me at the moment.
  20. "We must not shed each other's blood." No kill. Praise the Ja. --- Idea: Could we potentially start using polls for voting, at least as a supplement to declaring it in-post? Better than forcing poor Aether to listify everything.
  21. Meta has clarified that "no kill" is a valid vote, meaning that 39 "no kills" against 1 "Bob" means that no one dies. EDIT: I was incorrect in my interpretation.
  22. Rules question: Meta, can we vote "kill no one" so that one random player voting for one random person doesn't all-the-sudden constitute a plurality?
