The moons being put their artificially had occurred to me, but I generally try to avoid going "it's magic" to explain stuff. Poor instinct in this case, I suppose. :\ I suppose this might lend some degree of credence to the idea of Urithiru being on one of the moons. I still doubt it though, what with them being too small to naturally retain atmosphere and all. That's kind of awesome.

Curses! Foiled again by SCIENCE!!! Okay, so the orbits aren't magically augmented. Still, that leaves us some information. The three moons are likely captured asteroids, then, rather than having split off from Roshar during its formation, Luna-style. Three captured asteroids at the same time in relatively stable, seemingly very close orbits... Anything significant in that, science people?

Well I think it's about time to kill a Rioter, then.

Most likely.

It looks like a stylized Shash to me, the one that corresponds to garnet/the Lightweavers.

No.

Well this is Shallan's flashback book, so it's probably going to have Shash on it, to align with her Order. Thus the red color for garnet as well.

"'Assist.' How amusing." Kurkistan of Borg examined his claws—metal, of course. "Very well, two-leg: pray disable these rust-born and I may spare your ship this day."
-
The Dominions... If there was one force that the Borg hated as much as the Scadrians, it was they. Kurkistan of Borg opened communications with the enemy (?) ship. ---- Charlie prowled through the Scadrian ship, heading for where he thought the bridge must be.

Objection: Also be sure you trust them at least a bit. Better you send the list to someone you know you trust than someone who claims great power, if it comes down to it.

Theory: Realmatic Transference During the Shaod
Kurkistan replied to Wonko the Sane's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Returned show up outside Hallandren. I believe this is even referenced in the book: a man Returning in Idris and being left to "starve" after a week. Regardless, we do have WoB talking about how other nations deal with Returned, so that tells us that they exist elsewhere. No link at the moment because phone. -

On Spren: Note that the ideals that they seem to latch onto look to be founded in the Spiritual, not the Cognitive. This doesn't have much impact on your theory that I can see, but it's worth keeping in mind. -This backed up by the analysis in my spren theory cross-applied to some WoB. --Feel free to challenge me on this if you want some more evidence/detail. Some quotage: On Kandra: On that vein, I'm curious as to how you intend to address the requirements for sentience of Aons and Nahel spren in the Physical Realm: Syl: Aons:

An interesting theory. Remind me to throw some quotes at you later. For now: How do you break this down, Realmatically? Splinters are noted to be a mix of Cognitive/Spiritual: Is Investiture that same mix, or purely Spiritual?

"Sir!" A lieutenant rushed to the bridge. "Yes?" Kurkistan of Borg turned from admiring his many spikes. "They've turned around, sir! They're going to fight." "How amusing. Go on the defensive. I think we'll leave this fight to Charlie for a bit." ------- Charlie—his name was the only remnant of his previous owners (besides their souls in a pair of his spikes)—appeared in the enemy cargo hold. The Lifesensors had been wrong: There was a single crewmember taking inventory; he was now gaping at the Catquisitor that had appeared in front of him. Charlie left the hold a few minutes later, stronger by one Iron spike and licking blood off his claw-spikes. [i could use a few more for Side Evil, by the way. It's getting a bit lonesome over here. ]

Thanks for the extra clarity, Peter! Updated the relevant threads: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/3925-time-bubble-interaction-and-subjective-burn-rates/page-2#entry93963 http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/3519-gaming-the-system-in-forging/page-5#entry93960

UPDATE 2: So it looks like the extra juice goes somewhere else, wherever "the energy from a certain other related thing goes." How helpful. ()

UPDATE: A bit more clarity on the question of Resealing and Forgery:

It might be worth it to hit Digits, I think. So far as the information goes, I'd group-PM (new PM, no adding to existing conversations) 4 or 5 people with your suspicions, so they can verify each other going forward if you're killed in the night.

Mistborn with new cover coming in May (for teens!)

Ah, but that fact in itself is one of the secrets.- 8 comments

I used the RSS feed for the News, but it stopped working after the big site update and I haven't bothered to look into getting it up again, though for all I know all I have to do is re-subscribe.

Kukri looked to Peng. "What now, Lord Mistborn?" He opened his mouth to give his usual benediction, but Ja had been failing them these past crucial days. Instead... "Praise the Mistborn!"

I don't quite think so. Beyond the fact that anyone who gets ahold of Breath can use it, we know that all magic systems can be jury-rigged to be fueled by others. Nightblood being fueled by Stormlight is the example question for that WoB, actually. If by "mark as a theory" you mean tag it, just include "theory" in your tag list. If you mean append "Theory" to the front of the thread on the thread list, I think that is a Power reserved for Mods, unless something has changed lately.
