Well, I'm more wondering what makes you ask for an app? What's the use case?

I will link you to an extensive comment of mine on this matter: The long and short of it is that it's a lot of development effort (especially to keep up with new mobile versions) that we don't have time for. If there was an app, then that would delay IPS software updates even more for testing to make sure nothing breaks. This is to say nothing about the amount of time that would be spent on the app itself, which would be extensive. (We already have a software project, the new WoB Archive, and this takes a lot of time.) Additionally, I'm still confused as to what the real gains are by having an app and spending that time doing that. The mobile site is very, very good and I use it for most things, including the backend to do administration. Perhaps you can explain to me a use for an app that cannot be served with the mobile site? The only real thing is mobile push notifications, which you could just as easily get with email notifications. An app would just be a slightly crappier wrapper for the forum and would interact the same. I don't understand why that's preferable to opening the mobile site.

What are you looking for?

IPS's design is pretty complicated, and honestly, I am extremely picky regarding how things look. A dark theme requires totally different art assets to look correct.

There is not, sorry. Though one could be created, at this time it's hard enough to manage one skin with site updates. Obviously having multiple skins means it doubles the amount of work to check things still work upon site updates. (There are other issues with dark themes as well, as members can select font colors and stuff.) We are currently very busy constructing a new WoB Archive and that's sapped much of our time. You probably won't see a dark theme on the main site for a long time.

So on mobile there is very limited space on the editor toolbar. I have intentionally made the choice that it is better for the vast majority of mobile circumstances that users would rather not have a second toolbar there constantly on mobile. (I know I personally would hate it.) Generally I think changing colors is not a standard experience on mobile. Additionally, I do want to discourage use of changing colors, especially for regular discussion. I realize you're probably changing text color for the elimination games? I could change this, but I'm not sure if I want to? EDIT: You could simply type color in BBCode. [color=blue]text here[/color]
