Umm, I don't know what time zone you are in, but it is still several hours until the 17th for me. It is being released November 17, 8 pm Eastern Standard Time

If it's anything like previous releases, it's being released much earlier in the day than that, probably as soon as midnight rolls around in America; the evening is just when the official launch party will occur.

Since I live nearby, I'm planning on picking it up from the BYU bookstore as soon as they open.

Ah apparently when audible says midnight it means midnight PST so 7 and a half hours from now

It looks like it will take hours for Audible to complete order as it is in "Order processing" after countdown to release went down to 1 minute till release.

but I live in Alaska(the first timezone) so im gonna be one of the last people to get it (who Pre-ordered/orders at midnight)

@Chinkoln To be honest I don’t visit the site as often as I used to for various reasons. I know the release date is tomorrow (and I preordered the audiobook) but release parties have no interest to me. Never met Sanderson and probably never will but it’s enough just enjoy his books and engage in occasional discussions about his worlds and works

You really should sometime.  Not only is he a great author, he's a really great guy in general and getting to go to one of these and talk with him is one of the high points of any year for me.

I really wish I could meet Sanderson. An @Experience Like that would be amazing. It would inspire me for probably most of my life, and it would be such a great opportunity to meet him and learn more about the cosmere.

It looks like the ebook is being released at midnight PST.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to skip part one, or reread it. The first few chapters are a bit hazy since it was awhile ago

This question has probably been posed before, but will the copies from B&N come on the 17th?  (I preordered the signed copy.)  Mine has shipped, but I don't know if it will show up tomorrow, or later in the week... were the copies sent to bookstores and then the stores send them to houses?  

I'm so freakin' excited.  My writing brain is screaming because I want to study the plot twists and character beats and all that, my artist brain is screaming because a r t , my reading brain is screaming because I love Stormlight, and my fangirl brain is screaming because... well, you get the point.

Yep, I just got it. Reading it now! I didn't get the Kindle email until 21:12 PST, not sure when it became available exactly but I have it now
