  1. FInally got in! I signed in early and the refresh killed my link when it didn't start right away.
  2. Turns out, along with art, the Fused are really bad at Jenga.
  3. I got spoiled before I could listen. That's even sadder than the content, as I figured she might have to "die" for Shallan to grow without her. Sometimes I hate fantasy tropes.
  4. One idea is it could be Szeth-related. Perhaps his oathstone is somehow destroyed, and his master killed?
  5. Nope. "Have you given up on the gemstone, now that it is dead? And do you no longer hide behind the name of your old master?" Absolutely no idea what to do with this one, guys. edit: ninja'd. poop.
  6. Either it's glyphs or Renarin became an ardent and is a fast learner.
  7. I like the idea of this as a "we're watching you" kind of thing. Definitely I got the feeling they will extract vengeance on Kaladin given the chance. This might have been a better thread to post this theory: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/5956-dawnshards-and-their-relationship-to-the-listeners/#entry95626
  8. That sounds like a possibility. The other thing I considered, after my recent reread, is that it's not the live Parshendi that become the Voidbringers, but their dead. The thing that made me think of it is that they would usually leave their dead on the stone slabs, and the way they defend their dead - you don't want to disturb the vengeful gods. And the kicker would be, that the Alethi war that is decimating the Parshendi would make this the mother of all desolations. (Just a random musing, don't know if anyone has brought this up as a possibility before, and I haven't really fleshed it out as a theory.)
  9. All at once? It's like Christmas all over again, but way better.
  10. I just saw that the OP thought it was a glove, too. Which is a good explanation, but would be another Whelanism as she wears a full sleeve and not a glove. At first glance, it looked to me that the third finger had a nail, but much more likely to be another gloved finger. *note to self: finish reading and look more carefully before posting.
  11. The picture is absolutely beautiful, and I do think it's a great representation of Shallan, but if that's her safe hand peaking out there, what on earth is wrong with it? Those fingers look massive and odd. Or is that just me?
  12. Perhaps not, depending on how the Honorblades are more powerful. Until we know more about them, it's possible that someone would use it and it would behave just like a normal Shardblade, unless they know how to harness its power. First post! Excited for WoR to be out soon...
