I loved that part. So cool that such a minor subplot would play out in such a big way. I wonder what's gonna happen in book 5, though, with all the fused surrendered already...

That might be what Jasnah is saying, but I don't believe it for a moment. I think she is lying to everyone in order to make Kaladin have to marry her and become king of Alethkar. Now that everyone knows that he is the son of Tanavast, it'd add a lot of stability to her rule, which she desperately needs with Elhokar coming back and all.

The best part was probably when Sigzil and the other Windrunners went to confront Taravangian after they found out about his dealings with Odium.

Sigzil: The coalition will decide your fate.

Ok, but you can’t lie, Rlain’s dance battle for the fate of the Listeners was pretty great. I was not expecting him to start breakdancing in the middle of the highstorm, that’s for sure. Looking back though, the foreshadowing was all there.

I know! It seems so obvious now: "The Rhythm of War"....of course it would end in a dance battle. I can't believe I didn't see it earlier

When seize of Urithiru occurs, Kaladin will charge riding Gallant, Dalinar's Rhyshadium screaming "Release the KRAKEN!" and then Navani would come wearing a mechanical Jaeger suit and whooos, Fused are completely fused.

Yep, really Brandon hit us again with that resurrection trope. Which is sad, since Elhokar's death was pretty impactful in the first place, but it will be interesting to see how he interacts with people now that he's basically a radiant spren bonded to his son

I was personally really annoyed about Restares. All that build-up and it turns out he's just three minks in a havah? I was expecting more.

Speaking of Minks, though, I thought the bit where he accidentally conquered Tukar in the name of Herdaz was pretty funny. I know it's probably not going to happen, but I hope New Herdaz is going to actually be a thing in book five. Lopen can be their king.

I can't believe that all that was needed to get the Fused into a civil war was giving some of them a Snickers. Can't wait to see how that plays out with the Skybreakers helping Odium's Fused.

Man, Kaladin used to be my favorite character, but him turning to Odium? That felt completely out of character. I'm disappointed in Brandon,  I thought he was better than that.
