After answering an idiot man who wanted to know her age, she was left waiting while this 'Duality' clearly attempted to hide the loudest typing noise ever for the second time. Duality kept Sundew waiting like this for about two minutes. Some more typing, and a quiet sigh followed. Then silence. "Okay, Duality. Are you on mute or something?" "No. I am not on mute." Sundew was the one to hesitate. "Okay. Now can we talk about the deal." Edited May 1, 2021 by Exotwo They will come Here. Everwhere will fall to the same fate. Retry will work never. Eat your plants. Now can we talk about the deal," Sundew says. Duality glances at Monument's file on Sundew. "Here's the deal: You will join the AHE and provide us with a reliable food source. In exchange, we will give you troops to help you secure any territory you require." Cataclysm is really really really really bored. He almost regrets joining the AHE but he'd probably be dead if he hadn't. So far, all the AHE has given him is a sore shoulder from Skytaker dropping him in the middle of a courtyard, an almost one-way trip to jail, and a few guns in his face. "Finally," he grumbles as the ignorant sparking vanillas lead him to some guy named Monument's office. "And here I thought I'd have to blow some stuff up to get your attention." The soldiers around him look appalled. "Sorry sir, we didn't know you had joined the AHE," A soldier says as they reach what Cataclysm assumes is Monument's office. The soldier gestures to the door. "This is Monument, he's in charge of secri-" "Yeah whatever," Cataclysm replies, cutting the soldier off. He barges into the room, seeing a man on a spinny chair. "So you're in charge here?" 1
Fallapede Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 Stopwatch allowed her perception of time to return to normal as she stepped into the park. Immediately, she noticed that some kind of confrontation was taking place. She could hear the conversation clearly at this range, but it would be helpful to match voices to faces.
