It works with "I am the law" in the sense that he's saying he can make his own decisions now. It would be a great capstone to his arc too. Several times I'm oathbringer he remarks that he doesn't feel like he knows anymore. Last but not least it would really round out his partnership with Nightblood. 5

Works beautifully, though that may get in the way of his oath to Daliner. Does he still need to uphold that oath when swearing the fifth Ideal?

My thought has always been that the 5th ideal overrides the 3rd. That said I don't actually know.
