"Great! I'll just take this into the back real quick..."

"Um, do you mind doing them right here? Apparently the sword is really valuable."

"Hm? Oh. Yeah, sure." The man grabbed his equipment and brought it up front. "Sorry about that."

"No, you're all right. I'm just being careful. Pretty sure I'll forget soon, but may as well for now."

"That's alright, missy." The shopkeeper did his measurements, scribbling them down, then handed her a slip of paper. "Bring this to me in a week with payment in full to get your scabbard."

"Okay, thank you so much!" Melody smiled at Ellis. "Okay, now let's go. Bye!"

"Seeya!" The shopkeeper waved.

"In a week!" Melody walked away, smiling broadly. "Okay, sorry. After that brief detour, now we'll go find Q and Gerald."

"Yep. Let's go." Ellis cupped his hands over his mouth. "Q! Gerald!"

Y'all realize that we're not done yet and that y'all were basically stalling so that we can have that time, lol.

Really? Huh, I am weird.

The magician was killed and a little boy took his magic in an amulet, then gave it to Gerald. I was planning to stall while wandering through the city, where if we need to then we can get into more trouble.

Yeah, and I think that the boy was asking Gerald to bring his mother back, but I haven't looked back on it because there has been some stalling going on.

Gerald's eyes widened as he gazed at the amulet.

What is the exact nature of the amulet?

@Ookla the Wistful

“Please,” the boy said. “I don’t want it.”

You could say it’s a godmodding tool. You’d be able to exert quite a bit of control over the environment.

“You have the his power now. You can create whatever world you want.” The boy wiped his eyes. “Could you... bring my mother back?”

"I... I don't think it's that powerful," said Gerald, somewhat shaken. A dream crystal? he thought to himself. What...? How?

A voice made a soft sound almost like a laugh.

"Nice trinket you've got there," said Y.

@Mystic Syn, this is the character I was referring to on your status update.

Scudding scud, there are dream crystals now?

Xino, are there any RPs where mindscapes and withergeists aren't canon :D?

Does this mean we can make The Linear Thread canon to Fellowship?

Oh, it already was! X's avatar/Melody's story is canon to TLT, which is canon to CBST, which is where the idea of withergeists came from in the first place.

Q whipped around, her knives flashing in her hands. She narrowed her eyes where the voice came from, not sure what she had heard. She bit her lip, not saying anything.

Improvised Encounter time!! :P

Y dropped from a nearby rooftop in a flurry of wind, twin blades glittering in the sunlight.

"Hello, Q," she said neutrally. "Long time, no see, eh?"
