Well, define "now". What was now for you back when you wrote your reply isn't now for me, and I was asleep when you wrote it. Either way, I probably won't eat dinner now, even though it is evening where I live, because I ate not too long ago, before Shabbos was out here (yay for a random Judaism reference!).

TPBM likes to randomly philosophise.

(Well, philosophise isn't really a word, but I hope you got my meaning. And I didn't straight-forwardly violate my law of not having my TPBM be connected to what I wrote earlier in my message, since the connection was indirect. If you wish to claim otherwise you may well do so, and we can discuss it somewhere.)

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.

Not at all. Like nothing, I can’t name 10 football teams and don’t even get me started on basketball

TPBM has had a Covid test

No, but I think my brother's had two.

Guess what! I get to go to Provo for a writing camp! AND I GET TO READ DRAGONSTEEL!!! :D (At least, I'm very sure it'd be in Provo, no inklings of where else it'd be...)

TPBM is excited for summer break.

No, that is incorrect.

TPBM has been on this thread ever since long before COVID.

This thread didn't exist before covid

I'm more than just excited for it!

Yes.

TPBM hates masks because A: they give her hypoxia, b: they cause her to have repeated sinus infections that require antibiotics, and c: no one seems to understand the concept of invisible disabilities that mean some people cannot safely wear a mask.

Totally unrelated but this is the fourth sinus infection I’ve had this year...

Can't say those do apply to me. As a side note, invisible disabilities are absolutely a thing, but not all of them are severe enough to warrant going without a mask - I see people complaining for absurd reasons considerably more than I do disabled people for legit ones, though it definitely still happens and I'm sorry it's happening to you.

TPBM is sleepy.

I have chronic sinusitis and a history of fainting any time my blood pressure gets too low and I’m in a situation where it’s difficult to breathe. So essentially: wear the mask properly for a short period and I get a sinus infection. Wear it for an extended period (like ten minutes) and I pass out. Point out that the ADA says I need to be given reasonable accommodations and the CDC says people with my condition should only wear masks when indoors AND within six feet of someone else and I get ignored. (They may have changed this rec since I last read through the whole thing.) I guess I could sue all the stores in Brooklyn for failing to comply with the ADA, but that’s more trouble than it’s worth.

On the other hand, I’m kind of annoyed that I’m now looking into getting surgery for my sinuses because of everyone’s non-compliance with the ADA. I shouldn’t need to get surgery because of the mask mandate so I can go grocery shopping.

Yes, I’m exhausted. I was up all night watching my older daughter because her nurse was out and now I can’t sleep because my cleaning woman/baby sitter didn’t come to watch the younger one.

TPBM really, really hates it when people you’ve hired do not show up when you really, really need them.

Oh no, I hope the surgery goes well. And that's quite rude of them not to give warning that they can't come.

I do as well.

TPBM needs to drink more water today.

Thanks for the well wishes! I’m looking into it, but haven’t decided yet. For one thing ENTs are completely backed up for months, so I’m not even going to know if I’m eligible until the summer. If I’m eligible then I’ll have to determine if the risk of surgery is worth not having at least one sinus infection every year. Fortunately it’s not a risky surgery and has a fairly quick recovery.

I probably could drink more.

TPBM likes playing strategy/base building games on their phone.

On occasion, though it's been a while. I'm in gacha hell with a sprinkle of puzzles right now. I recommend nonograms to people looking to really kill time.

TPBM has a busy day ahead of them with zero energy to do it.

That sounds about right.

Objection! Everyone has.

Yes, a little bit of piano.

TPBM has developed a certain rejection for that song. It depends on the instrument, Fur Elise for me. Perfectly beautiful song but it's like people think it's the only song ever composed for piano.

No actually. (What would that song be for violin?)

TPBM likes playing/listening to renaissance/bluegrass/any fiddling songs. (please say which)

Definitely not.

TPBM has had too much sugar.

I'm not sure how to respond to that. I like ketchup and pasta sauce, but hate plain tomatoes.

TPBM hates tomatoes.

I hate store tomatoes. Heirloom tomatoes (garden-grown) are the best.

TPBM is not a releaser. (Come break this streak of (at least) 5 posts from only releasers!)
