She snapped two tight rings, around Miera's arms.

"Now try to use Saidar."

Intense pain shot through Miera's arms.

Miera tried not to show the pain, but still gasped and stopped Weaving. "What was that?"

Lydia looked towards Miera.

"If you try to use the Saidar, you will feel that. The more you access it, the stronger the pain will be. And if you take those off you'll be punished."

Lydia turned to the door.

"Now why don't I show you to your quarters?"

Philico shuffled his feet, and stared at the two men. "Do you have a home base, or a place of operations, where we can regroup? Maybe..." he trailed off, looking again at the dried blood on Venten's head. "...clean up a bit and refresh?"

Miera thought that devices like this were a long ago myth from the Shadowdays, before this Age. But this world continued to surprise her with it's cruelty and death. Obviously, however, these people needed her for something. She could use that if she needed to make that her only tool. She squared her shoulders and followed the woman.

Lydia, and the guards, walked down the hallway, and entered a room. It was small, with a bed on the far wall, a desk and a chair next to the bed, and a bookshelf across from the desk.

Light came from a lamp in the ceiling, and a window, above the bed.

An entrance to a bathroom was right past the bookshelf.

The woman looked to Miera. "I hope you find your accommodations satisfactory."

There was more than one kind of power that Miera could channel, although to be honest she thought that fireballs would have been better in any circumstance.

Miera looked her in the eyes. "They are satisfactory, thank you." She walked over to the desk and sat down. "You may leave now"

The woman smiled. "When you try and escape, don't fall. The cognitive realm isn't kind to Saidar users."

Lydia then walked out. Motioning for two guards to watch the door.

Miera tried to hide her surprise, at least until Lydia had left. Of course she knew she was going to escape. It was just surprising to hear it so kindly and frankly.

Miera started in the easiest place and went to look out the window.

"We don't have a base or anything."

Fantastic, Philico thought. "Where would you have gone if I hadn't shown up? Do what you were going to. I'll just follow."

Venten stopped storing, and tapped all of his Chromium at once

and he saw.

Hints, agonizing hints there was too much, but what he needed was there.

"She's above us, above and over."

Fantastic, Philico thought. He’s seen her location. With his Chromium. No scholar I know of has witnessed this first hand.

He shook himself, though. Stay focused.

“Above?” He asked. “How can she be above?” Scadrial hadn’t yet reached aviation... at least not that he knew of. Was this the scientific discovery of the century?

While incredible it would be for this to be true, searching the skies was the one thing Philico was incapable of. He wasn’t sure how these men could be helped.

"She's in an airship."

Miera saw they were far off the ground and quickly backed away from the window. Obviously that was what the lady had meant by "don't fall". She looked at the bookshelf. At least there might be some kind of information she could glean from that.

I'm thinking of making a friend of Fadran to connect the RPs. Where are you guys? If you're still on Scadrial, then he/she might actually take you guys to Enter's base, where the two groups could meet (however briefly).
