I want to second that. Miera is from a different universe but I made sure to give that reasoning as part of her backstory. I don't even know how it's possible to be a bender and a misting and an elantrian

Her mom died from a sickness in souther scadrial, and before she left she said her last words to Akii, though they weren't her last words. If you want more, I can add some, but thats what I have planned so far. She's not elantrian, she doesn't have any powers like that she just has a name that her dad thought was cool because he liked the idea of skybreakers. and her dad figured out how to workshop from the avatar verse to Roshar, then Sel and then Scadrial. he's probably still alive, just not on scadrial. you guys wanted more so I'll say her dad was a mega villain who the avatar tried to take his bending away, but he got teleported to roshar instead.

I feel I should mention that worldhopping and universe-hopping are a fair bit different. Radriarc is a world-hopper. Venten is a world-hopper. They are both very knowledgeable about the cosmere and they were still both very surprised to find that Meira was from another universe. Meira is only here because of some freak accident with insanely powerful magic.

Not saying this doesn’t work, I do like the idea of Bending in the cosmere, but right now the canon (or what we can call a canon here in the FotT.) is that universe hopping is hard and weird and barely ever happens. Unless you’re in the main thread, they do it like nobodies watching. Maybe instead of her dad being from another universe she has her powers from the Nightwatcher or something, or you could still do the dad from another dimension thing, but you’d need an explanation for how he universe hopped. (I recommend something along the lines of “freak accident”)

I don't want to tell you how to play your character, but yeah, this thread is trying not to get into all that yet, at least. I think it's fine if you want to have those powers but maybe underpower them a bit to match us. Maybe have her focus a lot more on her Allomancy and only have a little bit of skill with Earthbending

oh the villain is more powerful. She's a little more than tired from the bending of the spikes and I bet she could die if you actually focused all of his efforts on her. (Im basing this off of the spikes having pure allomantic metals and being harder to bend)

Akii, fell,  standing up and trying to look fierce. She suddenly realized how futile her goal was. This guy was a bender who could magically create spikes from thin air and heal from almost anything. What was her goal, anyway? She sighed walking away and trying to act like she was done with the fight and had given up.
