Alright! Good luck! Trace vanished.

"Wait! Tra--" Janice swallowed and put the sword blade between her and the yevon. Alright. I can do this. I can do this. I can't do this.

An arrow zips towards the yevon from above.  Rig narrows her eyes.  Bother.  That was not her best shot.

An arrow sank into the yevon's shoulder, making it roar out in pain. Unfortunately, this made it even more angry; it charged at Janice.

Hold your place this time! Trace yelled at her.

The yevon jumped, and Janice swung. It was a blind swing, but hit nonetheless. She felt her blade drag through the flesh of the creature, and a stream of blood splattered all over her face and clothes. She stumbled backwards, hacking and spitting, but still very much alive and unharmed.

There you go, Trace said affirmatively. Your first kill.

Far from it, Janice thought to herself, but she didn't argue. She steadied her blade, wiped the blood off her face, and prepared herself for the next attack.

Maddy nodded, then stood to ran back to the fight.

Kay. Trace appeared beside her and steadied the sword blade; best she could, anyways, without being able to touch things. Remember to keep yourself in a defensive stance at all times. If you're attacking, you're moving from one defensive to another. That way, nobody can chop off your arm while you stab them in the face.

“Yo, monkeys!” Corwin called, voice anxious, “come pick these fleas off my back!”  A sword raked at hos chest, but he rolled along it, and the blade slid off. It looked like, had he not moved, the direct blow would have sliced him, his aspect active or not.

“Good shot, kid,” the riflewoman said gruffly. “Pick off their reinforcements if you can. Only go for a shot where an ally is engaged if it is an emergency, at least until your skill increases. Don’t forget to read the wind.”  She shouldered her rifle, staring down the sights, then picked off another, who imploded.

Janice wiped some more blood off her face (there was an awful lot of it) and ran over to Corwin. She swung her sword at a yevon and decapitated it, nearly losing her lunch at the sight.
