Vespyr and the room sighed again. “You should sleep.  There is food in the pack at the back of the room if you need it. We will travel at sunrise, in few enough hours.”

Trace glared. "Fine."

She slunk back into the darkness of the cave, sitting down and crossing her arms.

I sleep in one morning and there're more pages then when I was gone for three days. I've been mostly catching up on what has happened, so it's canon that our glorious Cinder Colonel will do a lot of sitting, thinking, and the occasional brooding.

TLDR for my RPs:
Many pages playing as a charismatic NPC navy captain and his family, who were then mutilated and murdered by Lloyd and his friends, who mistook their ship for a pirate's boat, and are now likely wanted as pirates themselves.

Introduced my character as Vespyr, a vibration-manipulating stern gender-unknown masked badass.  Swept in, saved Cruz and Trace/Janice from getting their asses kicked by one Lena, and is now kidnapping/babysitting them while about to take them on a magical adventure to be corrupted/enslaved by the Queen.  Sorry for the post overload!

Trace looked over her clothing, grunting in disgust at the mangled mess of what was once a suit of armor.

"Hey, Cruz?" She asked. "You wouldn't happen to have a spare cloak or anything, would you?"

Vespyr gestured toward the back of the room, at the bags.  "There are supplies," it said.

"Thanks." Trace said, then began rifling through the stuff.

There was a change of clothes, a simple shirt and trousers, large, but with drawstrings.  Alongside that, there were basic dried rations, a simple fare.  It wasn't elaborate, but there was enough for a long trip.  Much of it hadn't been touched; Vespyr hadn't wasted time in finding Trace, apparently.

Lloyd sighed, something was not right. His vision was blurring and he had a headache. "What do bodies need besides an hour of sleep to survive?"

“Eating. And drinking. And not trusting anyone, because people will let you down. Anyway, when it comes to eating, I honestly can’t cook. Do you have any magic powers that allow you cooking?”

“Water. But only a specific water. For example, you can’t drink the one from the sea, because it is way too salty.”

Trace removed her armor--she was wearing a wrap around her chest underneath--and put on the shirt. "Hey Cruz, do you mind not looking?"

The man groaned. "I can guess... but if you're looking for Franklin, I don't know any Franklins."

Intellect, or was it instinct?

The one that pulls things...

Xenia pulled out a pistol from her lab coat, and set it on the table.

"A few months ago we intercepted transmissions from the Myrian government stating that you had had some success with the implantation of artificial aspects, is this information accurate? I advise you to think carefully about what you say next."

Cruz would see the basic essentials.  Food, water, toothbrush.  Extra socks.  A knife that wailed with the souls of its captured, slain victims.  The usual stuff people carried in their handbags.

Not really about that knife, lol.  Just being silly.

"Certainly," Cruz turned around., facing the opposite way. "Interesting that demons still have sensibilities."
