Lloyd prepared to attack. Vespyr was visibly SMOKING from all the excess power it had absorbed from Janice. On top of that, Vespyr had just topped off on Nectar. If Lloyd attacked this creature that routinely destroyed military vessels, slaughtered crews, and took on multiple other aspect-users without breaking a sweat... Lloyd was going to have a bad time. Vespyr did not move to acknowledge his attack, but it did not turn away from him, either.
