The Ward's Guard he/him Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 (edited) Ros spends some time in the Kitchen, cleaning his plate and utensils before he leaves and makes his way towards his room. Edited October 1, 2020 by TheWard'sGuard
Condensation she/her Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Crescendo trails her fingers through the fountain, smiling and remembering their water fight last night. That wasn't the reason that she had come out here, however. She moved behind the fountain to be sure that no one would see her, then pulled a piece of granite she had found earlier out of her pocket and sucked in Stormlight. She concentrated on it, trying to remove certain parts without removing others, and it begins to turn into dust. When the dust has finished falling, she sees what she had been trying to make: a smooth granite ring, the perfect size for her finger, with little words in Azish engraved on it. Some of the letters looked a little off, but it was otherwise exactly what she had concentrated on. She sucked in a breath and examined it. It was beautiful, with no flaws in the stone and perfectly spaced black dots on the otherwise white stone. She slipped it back into her pocket. It was just what she had wanted, but she didn't know if she was willing or able to acknowledge the fact that she had this destructive power at her fingertips. She fingered the ring, then drew her hand back out of her pocket. She walked inside, thinking of what she could do today before class, but the ring was always at the back of her mind.
Negative_Null They/Them Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Selia wanted to go back downstairs and take a look in all those locked rooms, but that would have to wait for another time. For now, she had found an interesting book on these devices called fabrials. She wondered if she could construct one, but she wasn't sure how trapping a spren would work, and didn't think she liked the idea of trapping something like Melody.
Condensation she/her Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Crescendo walked into the library, determined to get some studying done without anyone noticing her.
Channelknight Fadran Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Leonie, deeming that nobody else was going to talk to her this morning, retreated back into her room. Shen had already set up the chessboard, and they begun to play.
Condensation she/her Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Crescendo pored along the shelves, looking for a book about Releasers.
The Ward's Guard he/him Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Ros made his way to his room, he had the appearance of being slightly ill as he made his way there. When he got into his room, he sat down silently onto his bed and stared at the wall. He definitely didn't feel well, but it wasn't some sort of disease, or at least not one that he knew. His thoughts turned to words in his seemingly empty room. "Why, why any of this?" "I'm not sure." Ros jumped at the response, she hadn't done so in a long time. The voice continued. "I'm not sure of much anymore, it just seemed right. Maybe you need to find another, that spanreed just doesn't seem like it's enough, and I don't think that I can." Ros looked towards the floor and put his head in his hands before he spoke. "I don't know if I can, I knew I shouldn't have left in the first place." The voice took on a concerned tone. "I know this is it, this place feels right. I just need time. Please, just look up and push on a little bit longer." Ros looked up. "I believe that's my line." "The maybe you should listen to yourself, you are wiser than you give yourself credit for." Ros shook his head with a little smile. "Alright then, just a little more." With this comment, Ros stood up from his bed, feeling stronger, but still rather uneasy. He made his way out the door, and started walking around the building.
Condensation she/her Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Crescendo found a stack of books and went to go sit down in a window seat.

Ros walked around before he came across Crescendo. He paused before approaching her, trying to gather himself. "Good morning Brightness Crescendo, I thoroughly apologize for the way I treated you this morning, there can be no excuse for it."
Condensation she/her Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Crescendo started guiltily, then set down her books and stood in front of them, trying to hide them. "It's perfectly all right, Brightlord Ros, I think we were all quite distracted."

"Please don't call me Brightlord lady Crescendo, I'm definitely no Brightlord, I don't have the eyes or anything for it. Do you mind if I take a seat my lady?"
Condensation she/her Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 "Um..." Crescendo glanced behind her at the books, then sat down, plastering a smile on her face. "Of course, Ros. If you promise not to call me Brightness Crescendo."

"I apologize la-, Crescendo. I won't make that mistake again."
Condensation she/her Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Crescendo looked briefly at the ceiling, then settled back, shoving a cushion between her and the books. It hid the titles quite effectively.

Crescendo, if you don't mind me asking, did you have someone back home, one who knew you and connected with you like no other. Not exactly a significant other, but more than a friend?"
