You should! It's okay to change what name you want to use later, so don't worry about it being a super-permanent decision or whatever

In seriousness, that's one of my favorite female names

Edit @Hmmm liesI see you watching

I'm always watching

Sorry I couldn't post more today, there's so much I would have wanted to respond to, and I'll try and get to some of it when I can.

Btw I couldn't find anything about transmedicalism in the GDB. I don't think it's really a real issue idk.

But i kinda like my username... also Lily is taken but not Lilly.

Hi lies! cryptic behavior.

I'll read the GDB later then. I think it's a pretty good resource, right?

The Shadowhunters series? I read it a while ago.

Didn't think about that (or the apparent murder drones character) but it fits me best.

Wait really? I never find anybody who's read it

I have a habit of connecting names, especially less common ones, to books

What was yall's moment where you realized you were trans? Also what was dysphoria like while an egg?

Just wanted to answer this before I go.

Many people here know the story, but I'll tell it again.

On March 15th, 2024, I thought I might be a femboy.

On March 16th, 2024, when I woke up in the morning, I realized I was a girl.

Yes, I'm skipping some details, which I might go over tomorrow, but that's pretty much it.

Dysphoria as an egg felt like a complete disconnect from the male gender. I was "a guy" but I never felt like one. I was just "A person who happens to be male". I felt a greater affinity for the female gender, and was somewhat frustrated that I couldn't be a part of it. (I had some incorrect ideas about transness at the time, again, I'll go more in depth later)

I do too, which was why it was hard to find a name that went well with my last name and sounded nice and fit me and didn't belong to someone I already knew

But I love being Tessa

Tessa is legit a sick name

Spoiler

And arguably one of the better characters in MI, as a bonus

decently relatable, while I lacked the affinity for females, I certainly had the disconnect (probably helped by my usual disconnect from most feelings). I always just kinda said "eh, who cares what gender I am, im male for now I guess".
