Y'know, plus I'm not sure. She's a Worldhopper now and took the same oath as Hoid.

"Um... I don't know if I'm allowed to tell you."

"That's alright. Welcome to the Fellowship, Hiiri."

"Thanks? Just let me know if or when I can help with things."

Fadran starts up the staircase.

Hiiri follows him up the staircase, keeping a careful eye out. As she walked, she faded in and out of view unconsciously.

Herate looked over. Far in the distance, some of the others have just come climbing out of the ground. Good, they could keep moving.

Hiiri looked over. "Why did you come here again?"

"Great! I don't suppose you would happen to have any portals there, would you?"

"I don't have any, I don't know about anyone else."

"You have a Bond with this... Daolan guy, right?"

Um, probably. Herial, remember?

"A Bond?" Herate asked cautiously, raising her eyebrows.

"A... I guess in Cosmere terms it'd be a Connection."

Just reread the Coppermind article on Connections, well shoot. No, I don't think they have a Connection.

"Selish Magic: All magic on Sel (including AonDor, Dakhor, ChayShan, Forgery, and Bloodsealing) requires a Connection to certain lands to function properly. The magics will decrease in power the farther from the land the user is,[40] and will not normally work outside of Sel."

"I don't think so, but maybe."

Yeah, they definitely do.

Herate shrugs. "Maybe. Probably."

"Then think really hard about him, and I'll try to use that to make a portal there!"

"Okay." Herate closed her eyes and concentrated really hard on Daolan. The curve of his smile, the way his chin felt when he needed to shave, and the twinkle in his eyes. She almost lost her concentration then, but she focused harder. The gruffness of his voice when he was trying not to laugh. The way he made her feel when he was the first thing she saw in the morning. His persuasive comments when he knew something was best for her. And most of all, his laugh. She smiled and focused harder.

Fadran hesitantly took her hand--hopefully not in any way that seemed creepy--and Forged a weak Spirit Bond to Herate. Trying to connect to another location through someone else's Bond wasn't exactly an easy process, but Herate's connection with Daolan was strong enough to make up for the Ambiguity.

Fadran cut their air with the Channelblade, creating a Parallarity portal leading right outside of Herate's encampment.

Ewwwwwwwww!

Spoiler

Sorry, I’m just a dum middle schooler that hates romance scenes. I guess that could be my epic weakness.
