Stephen jumped as the boy appeared behind him. "Um... I fight, yes. Decently. Killed my fair share of kings and wizards throughout the course of my life. But I spend most of my days now in an underground stronghold. My glory days seem to be over."

"Oh. Well, that's cool. But now..." He appeared behind Elduvar. "I need to do my main job." The funny thing was that there were two of him now-one holding Elduvar over his shoulder and the other next to Stephan. Another appeared next to Fadran, and another at camp with Queen.

"...Okay, what are you doing?"

"Actually, they're semi-solidified illusions of myself. Ever heard of Loki? I have powers sort of like his." He hefted Elduvar and carried him to a strange spear-head looking thing that he had conjured. It was floating and glowing with a rippling blue-ish light. It was also rather large- about the size of an elephant. As soon as Elduvar was put in, it disappeared. "Well, that's that." All the doubles disappeared into him. "What are you waiting around for?" He seemed to notice the dome for the first time. "Oh. That. Well, let's figure out a way to get past it." He teleported to the wall, and then conjured brass knuckles. He started to punch the wall as hard as he could.

"I've heard of Loki, actually, vaguely. Someone I know told me about him."

What barrier is this? Is it a wall?

Stephen brought out his sword, and the green gem in its hilt glowed softly. Are you going to look for him yet?

Not yet, my friend, Stephen thought back. I want to investigate the Fellowship first. To do that I must gain their trust. Should be easy enough.

Stephen hefted his sword and began to smash it violently against the wall in an attempt to get through.

"Another universe. Nowhere special. I'm just making sure it works."

"How's that going to help us get through this wall?"

"I could make a portal to the other side of the wall."

Stephen nodded. "Smart, makes sense. I guess I could try that, too."

Martin throws a rock at the wall.

It clatters off.

The border seems permeable to teleportation, although teleportation directly to the other side is more difficult than it would normally be.

It's less of a teleportation and more of rearranging the body and reforming on the other side.

As he flew through the space-time continuum, Maros struggled to keep his atoms together until he popped into the other side. He appeared on the other side and then viewed it from the outside. While he could see each detail clearly, the entire process took maybe 1.3 seconds. Teleporting back, he made the spear-head vessel appear, teleported it to the other side, made it disappear, and then teleported to the other side again.

I think that the Fellowship of the Thing needs a reboot.

Not a retcon or a restart, no; a reboot. Meaning it's slowed down in the last few months and we should really speed things back up a little. To do this I propose that we make little modifications to the storyline. Nothing big or important, of course. An idea that I had was that because we've got so many macrocosmic baddies teaming up now (the Witherlord, the Clan, Enter's universe-destroyer peoples), we could do some active war scenes. Ayia and Fadran, to name a couple people, have already been fighting across universes for years now, and from what I can tell we've got several other macrocosmic soldiers hanging around the Fellowship.

Of course, I think that going in this direction could end up in much the same way that the thread has already been going: people throwing monsters at the Fellowship and having a combat montage. Now there's nothing wrong with fight scenes, but too many is... y'know. Bad. I dunno how to remedy that, but at the very least we could have fight scenes across different settings to spice things up a tad.

As far as I can tell, the main plot-carriers at this point are Xino and myself. I'd really rather we not DM this whole thing, so... here's a thought. People who are more active on this thread can lead their own storylines with the other characters so we can have multiple plot threads going at the same time. Sprennie, Flaming Coinshoot, maybe Matrim and Randby if they ever show up again. I'll throw up a sort of hub for the Fellowship that they can access at any time (for more information on that, check out my collab posts that I did with Queen) so that we can keep all the characters interacting, but between the dialogue and character stuffs we can have W A R.

Personally I think it's a novel idea. Like, it's good and we could make a novel out of it someday. Everyone savvy?

(Also imma just summon everyone who actually posts here because S U M M O N S)
