"You seem trustworthy, did you say something about loosing your immortality before?"

I relax my posture if only slightly. I nod ever so slightly in recognition of his statement. "I was immortal until a short time ago. An enemy cursed me and stripped myself and my late wife of our immortality. I can now be killed or harmed as any mortal."

Taln watches the conversation, confused.
Why were these people talking about the surges as if they were some magical weapon. They weren’t. They were just an aspect of life, like breathing.

Xino, I don't know if it should be Daolan's tent or not.

I mean, it's your characters and setting. I'm fine either way, if that's what you're asking. :)

I don't honestly care either. Um... it's not, I guess.

Herate lay down on the bed she had made for herself and quickly fell asleep, overcome by the exhaustion of the day.

Hiiri saw T leaving the camp and followed her, moving stealthily and invisibly through the forest.

Dang I missed a lot. Sorry y'all!

Fox followed Nath, a bit startled, but intrigued by the conversations.

Maybe keep OOC chat to the PM? That should help the thread be a lot less cluttered and confusing. Final word is up to Fadran, though, as it's his RP.

Daolan was woken by something, he couldn't tell what. He looked around and yawned, but it was dark and his blanket must have wrapped around his head. He closed his eyes and tried to go back to sleep, but something felt wrong. He opened his eyes and realized that it shouldn't have been that dark unless it was a new moon, which it wasn't. "Hello?"

I suppose I should have clarified that the threads are sort of in his mouth, too. Oh well.

Niesa heard muffled noises within the coccoon as she wrapped it to herself with strands of silk.

"Quiet," she muttered, hoisting the wrapped figure over her shoulder and exiting the tent.

A few moments later, she was beating silent black wings against the sky as she escaped. Her cargo dangled beneath her, ready and waiting for transport to Psyder. Niesa wasn't yet sure what the plan with the general would be, but there was one thing she knew for certain.

The days of the resistance were numbered.

Daolan grew more worried and reached for the side of the bed - but he couldn't move. He squirmed, yelling. The black stuff got into his mouth and he spat it out. "Help!"

Fadran went looking for Herate; the sooner the better to discuss strategy.

Wind heard someone yelling in the camp, he should check it out. Time to show off some power I guess. Wind’s human form fades and then reappears next to the tent of the yelling person. “Hello? Anybody home?”

Already gone, sorry.

There's no answer.

Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know that Emi, Truthless and I are removing Emi (the character), Velles, and my unnamed character, respectively, from the FotT universe. Subsequently, all of our posts in this thread with these characters no longer occurred within FotT canon (this doesn’t apply to Emi’s other character, who is still remaining in the RP). Thanks, and happy RPing!

Eldyn stepped out of the shadows then looked around, disoriented and not sure where he was.

Ah, scud. I have to introduce another character to the Fellowship and find Daolan? Dang it!

Fadran sees someone out of the corner of his eye. Another new guy? At this rate, they wouldn't need an army.

"Hello, there!" Fadran says.

Well, technically Eldyn already existed, he just disappeared at some point while they were going into Reading's Fortress.

Eldyn recognizes the speaker and slowly steps forward. "Hello?"

"Fadran. I can sense something about this place... a... disorder. Chaos"
