Fox eyed the throne, making a split decision to go for it. Either she was all in, or not at all. Fox allowed herself to collapse into the chair, though she kept the knife close at bay. Perhaps she should have tried to be a bit more... elegant in the way she sat, to mirror the one she was with. Too late for that. Who cared anyways at that point. "What did you say your name was again?"

Circestran sits primly in the chair. She radiates authority. Had a crown been sitting on her head the whole of the cosmos might have named her empress. A subtle aura flows around her. The slightest of smiles shows in her eyes as she watches Fox drop onto the second throne that she had conjured. "I have had many names. You may call me Circestran or Circe if you wish. I am curious. How long did it take Nath to tell you to trust his words?" Circestran settles back and watches Fox intently.

Fox thought back. Her memories were generally a jumbled mess when it regarded Nath. "I... don't really know. I think I'm missing something from when we first met," Her voice got progressively quieter as she kind of talked to herself "but when he came for me..." She concentrated, and then looked back up at Circe, "Well, I guess that... yeah I don't really know..." Fox shriveled up just little bit, before realizing she was showing a bit too much of her true feelings, so she returned to her appearance of neutrality.

"You shrink back from the truth child. Why? I believe that you don't truly desire to be untruthful. Nath saved me you know. I believe that he did something similar alone.I ran for eons. I felt unloved until I met him. More than once I even tried to kill him. Our first meeting was on a battlefield. We were on opposite sides."

Circestran gazes into Fox's eyes as she speaks. She searches for something. Nothing remains hidden from her sight. Nothing, but the tale and the soul before her matters. "I had quite a temper in my youth. I lashed out. Anyone who angered me would inevitably be destroyed. Worlds, kingdoms, and realms fell before me. None could stop me. My nieces and nephews, the ancient gods, did not desire to incur my wrath and so they did not move against me. Everything was mine to take. For eons I ran from my pain and accepted it as being what I deserved. Everything changed at the battle of Shuva. I had gone to far and this time there was to be a reckoning." Circestran pauses.

Fox cocked her head and leaned forward. This was quite intriguing.

Internally Circestran chuckles. "However, you would not be interested in that.  It was so long ago. Why do you trust Nath? What make you trust him with your life?"

No message should have been able to get through. In any case.

Mita lounges in his throne. There is something almost childish in the way that he holds himself. An overwhelming wave of pride rolls off of him saturating the room with it's power. With a thought his clothes repair themselves.

I figured since you opened it up for James a quick message like that could

"Oh, that won't be necessary," said James, taking the coin and inspecting both sides. "Let's see..." he muttered. "This side's heads, this one's tails."

James flips the coin. It lands on tails.

"Well," he says quietly. "Apparently Fate does not wish for me to be without protection."
