Jared planted a foot down and spun around. His blade traced a red line as it spun around, ending in a jagged streak as he launched a red pulse of Silence at Winter's new location.

Jared calmly reinforced his Silent armor, then flicked his blade back towards his ear to catch whatever-it-was.

He's using reality warping to move, he thought to himself. Interesting, but not particularly surprising. Nothing he couldn't deal with, either.
