He gets to his feet, dashing towards them but slowing down not far before them. Nath was unconscious on the ground, but he seemed peaceful. And Fox... Fadran couldn't be tell for sure, but she wasn't the same alleycat that had joined their Fellowship not long ago.

Nath returned to unconsciousness as they were transported somewhere new. No, he couldn’t leave again! Fox tensed as a man came running at them. She pulled out the knife from her belt, getting to her feet “Don’t come any closer!” She commanded with a slight quiver in her voice. “Who are you and what do you want? How do you know my name?”

Fox stood there, dirt and blood smudging her face, her hoodie still darkened around her stomach. A bit of white bandage peeked through the rip in her hoodie from when she was.... stabbed. (just cause I forgot to describe her when she first appeared)

"Fadran.... Fadran." Fox's head throbbed as she repeated the name trying to remember. When she spoke her words were strained. "I get the feeling that... I should... trust... you.... but... I don't... know.... why...." Fox's knife clattered to the ground as she raised both hands to her head. "I.... think Nath mentioned you. He said he... failed you, but I didn't know what he meant" She looked back up at Fadran. "Are you really... a friend?"

Fadran hesitated. What was wrong with Fox? Had Nath really thought that he had failed somehow? There was so much he didn't know.

"I really am." He replied at last. "You seem confused. Are you sure you're alright?"

Nath needs immediate attention, and I am... desperate. I am fairly certain that his ribs are broken, and he may even have a punctured lung. You may send forth one person to help, but I will be watching closely to make sure that there is no funny business."

I lay in silence for a minute, an hour, an epoch perhaps. A living void of aether surrounds me on all sides. There is nothing here to disturb me. My rest seems complete. There is nothing lacking until there is. Some part buried beneath the calm recognizes that which is off. Something breaks the numbness that is my very being. A single name rises to my lips. Though I do not rise. I stir in the emptiness though my voice lacks anything more than the message that I intend to deliver. "Still hiding Rish? You didn't send another child to threaten me did you?"

The void shivers as a voice alone fills it. There is no warmth nor is there the essence of cold. There is an implacability to each and every word. "Impertinent even in the end. Your betrayal stung, but In your death I will be consoled."

"If you had killed me alone I would have accepted this knowing that your end would soon follow. However, you took her from me and for that you will suffer."

"An empty threat."

"Is it? I know that the council does not know what you have done.  Even if they never find out now that I have no intention of letting you go free. When I survive I am coming for you. There will be nowhere that you can hide. I will slay your progeny before your eyes. Your Mindscapes and realms will be burned to the ground. I will leave your temples as dust beneath my feet. The voice vanishes and I descend again into my peaceful void.
