As Vale drains light my blades I summon ever more light. I send the bolts of lightning that surround me to the palisade of light. I create mini tornadoes beyond the palisades.

Chinkoln starts to look bewildered. "Is there something I am missing? We have weapons that can summon tornadoes, are made of light, burn what they touch, are really lightweight, can suck your soul, and are in seemingly limitless supply. Why are we scared of this monster? And why am I going to be jumping around to distract it? Unless y'all have REALLY good aim, I think I am more likely to die than the monster."

She found an emotional space that seemed to be waiting for that spear, so she mentally placed it there. Upon returning to the physical world, the spear was gone, though she could feel it in her mind, ready to be called upon.

Impressive. Instinctively creating a mindscape to place the spear. There is much I could teach her in that regard. Impressive nonetheless. I let these thoughts bleed away as again I let all go blank.

Maolg charged the group. He was clad in what looked like black shardplate, and carried a sword made of a similar black substance. Over his shoulder flew his bonded withergeist, with tattered wings and red eyes. 

He slowed down as he approached the group, once he'd seen they'd stopped as well.

"Greetings!" he called out in a slightly accented voice. "I trust you are all well?"

I do not respond to this enemy. With a thought the palisades of light and lightning strike him. The mini tornadoes combine and catch him in their grasp. It tears at him. I call another burst of wind which grabs his withergeist.
