In a flash of green, Baalhan is frozen again.

Aridith snaps his fingers and Santonio lurches to his feet, gasping. White light flares as four more greens are summoned from elsewhere. All four place a hand on Baalhan, channeling their transfixing light into him. At last they finish, stepping back as the light holding him frozen in place is released.

"My servants have frozen the majority of your power," declares the king with a voice devoid of passion. "Now you will be punished."

The two yellows raise their hands and let loose streams of blazing fire. For a few moments, its blinding light fills the chamber. Then it fades.

Baalhan's skin is burned and blackened by the fire, and his face is twisted beyond all recognition. But even as the onlookers watch, sapphire flames have already begun to restore him.

"You live," said Aridith. "For now. It is lucky for you that I respect strength." He waves a hand, and the four greens transfix the war god's form once more. "Serve me, and you will yet live for longer. If you do not..." He leans in close. "I have killed gods before," he says. "I will not hesitate to do so again."

With that, he waves his hand, banishing Baalhan and his four guardians back to the dungeons.

"Baalhan got zapped/frozen by some green holed. He got transported away, I'd assume to the dungeons, which I'd assume these are."

Grace sighed. An Author's will determines who you are. If that were not true, then they would not be an Author.

It's probably of purpose to know that the Hyxali don't have prisons (not in a traditional sense), so wherever you are is likely living quarters that the holed converted into prisons. (So not terribly nice, but not designed for discomfort.) Baalhan, I would assume, requires constant maintenance on the transfixing in order to prevent him from breaking loose. Because of that, he's unlikely to be held in the same location. Blues can divine exactly what a prisoner would be able to do to break out, and plan their prison cells accordingly, so if you think that Baalhan would be bound by less than a full-body restraining, I'd be glad to know it.

The soft buzz of wings drifts in from up the passageway. Elaine flutters in, dropping to a walk as she approaches Mist and Vapor.

There is little to no chance that Baalhan would be locked up in an ordinary prison. He would need to be transfixed by a minimum of four holed at all times to prevent his escape. Further, the cell itself would need to be constructed to frustrate his escape should under the worst case scenario he get free of the transfixed state that he is in.

Vapor grabs her bag and pulls out a lock pick. Making sure Elaine doesn't see, she hands it to T. "What are you doing over here?" she asks Elaine, conveniently blocking her view of Nathrangking's door.

T whispers, "I need more than one pick. It's rather hard to apply pressure and move tumblers with only one pick. Do you have a kit?" Looking in her bags, she finds something that might work and starts to pick the lock, waiting for @Vapor's answer.

"Oh, sorry." Vapor pulls out a large black box and hands it to T behind her back.

I think that usually the holed would just enthrall would-be revolutionaries. That's if there were any in Hyxali populations- the race is naturally subservient.

More likely, its a character in a similar situation- he accidentally walked into Universe Hexagon and was imprisoned to keep what he'd found a secret.

She trailed off as she watched the strange behavior of Vapor and Mist. "What are you doing?" she asked, moving to try and get a better view.

This would actually work perfectly, since my character is a Truthwatcher.

But what would the secret be?

"Is someone bursting out of here? If so, then please get me out of here." Truth said. "These crazy people locked me up because I found some weird stuff about them."

I don't know about the capacities of the holed but they have blocked using some sort of anti-Investiture mechanism, which prevented me from manifesting a shardblade.

But wait, Vapor. What if we can get something for Nathrangking that he needs. Nathrangking, is there anything you need? *whispering* I'm almost done. If I can have a bit more time while not turned, I can finish."

She turns to face the door, looking at Nathrangking through the window while picking the lock.

 

In another place, Ember asks, "What do we do now? Vapor and T are asking Vapor's dad about the purple gemstone."

Also, I would really like to be broken out. A simple disruption of the magic at work should suffice.
