Elend summoned a mile high monolith of ice, with the words "Here disappeared Sir Redacted of Arse's body" carved on the north facing side. As it started to melt, Elend thought better of it and put the world into a nuclear winter in order to preserve the monument. He hefted Nice once more, thrusting it into the ground...and using it as a shovel. He dug a hole and put redacted's head in it, and covered it with dirt. Whatever it was, it kept evading me. I knew it had something to do with the Shard, and I narrowed it down to this thread very early in its existence. But I couldn't locate the cause of my grief. Days went by. I studied this thread forwards, backwards and inside out. Until I finally discovered what it was. Through thorough research and scrutiny, I've come to a conclusion.
