I mean isn’t today’s lynch almost identical to a d1 lynch, but with slightly more information and one less target. I still have no real suspicions, so I’m going to hold off for now, though Ark’s vote does seem bizarrely early for a bandwagon.

There are 1.5 hours left until the day ends, get your votes and ship requests in before then.
It has come to my attention that this thursday, rollover will be weird. It's my birthday and I'm having some friends over that evening, so I might just do rollover late, or extend that turn by 24 hours. I'll make an official decision tomorrow or something.

everyone, I apologize sincerely for my inactivity, life just is really hectic rn. I honestly dont know how much time, let alone energy I'll have to check on here in the next few months.  I'll try to not ruin the game, but no promises, and it might just be better to count me as inactive.

If someone posts a vote count I'll try to do something to break a tie or ensure a lynch. We need to start somewhere, right?

Nothing has changed since my last one. It's a tie currently between Stick and Walin, neither of those seem like good ideas.

EDIT: In fact, Walin. Stick was right. A Walin Lynch does us no good.

Stick (2) - Sart, Ark
Fura (1) - Young Bard
Sart (1) - StrikerEZ
Bard (2) - Stick, Elandera
CadCom (1)
StrikerEZ (1)
Walin (1) - Elandera, (no action)

ok,  I hadn't realized I havent voted yet. While I don't super like how Bard hasn't removed his pokevote on me, I am 99% certain that is because of his time zone... I forgot how MRs went as well... I will have to go with Sart for now.

I haven't had enough time to do a decent analysis. So I won't be voting.

Or you could vote randomly and give the village some info on you?

I can confidently say they did not perform the Elim kill last cycle

I be knowin’ it was you Topsy. Right rude of you to do that, though I definitely get the thought process behind it (not sayin’ I agree with it, ‘cause I already told you my take on light lances). Hey @Steeldancer, you know this base pretty well, you know if the reb towers have got light lances or somethin’ of that sort fitted on ‘em? ‘Cause if not, that’d tell us somethin’ useful.

Anyways, my thoughts on the rebs is this (sorry if I’m not explainin’ this too well with the time we have). I’ve mostly trusted Rivelda ‘cause she seemed willin’ to consider goin’ after the rebs even at the expense of our defense against Krells, on multiple occasions, an’ whether or not that’s a good idea it’s not a reb idea. I generally gots a good feeling ‘bout Llerk and Bastard. I feel that Seraph lookin’ for heads to roll isn’t really a reb or loyalist thing. I’m a tiny bit wary of Stick not wantin’ to vote anybody up, but I don’t see it as a great big deal, ‘specially ‘cause I didn’t end up votin’ for somebody either. My gut isn’t reactin’ so good to Bad Wolf, but my gut might just be on edge ‘cause I’m not exactly a smooth flier. Finally, I noticed Knowstoo Much (Joe) had been listenin’ in a lot more than they be talkin’ for a few shifts now, which is a bit sketchy, ‘though I kinda wish I had better material to go off of by the second day.

Turrets only have the 10 damage shot ability, no IMPs or Light lances.

Krell 1J and 1H were destroyed. Do we get a post of how many krell were destroyed and which survived? 1E and 1F are still alive.

How do we know this? I'll admit, the rules with the Krell confuse me and I've never played a game with this 3rd pseudo-faction thing.

I'm also behind on the analysis, like Joe. But I'll vote this time. I'm not a fan of any of the lynch targets: Sart, I always have a gut feeling against, so I want to be wary of my predispositions; Bard was killed C1 in the last game; Stick, I have no idea. I'll probably vote for Stick unless there's something else useful brought up before the end of the cycle.

DA's annoyance at Sart seems to be pretty genuine, so if he's an elim he's a pretty good actor. I have to agree that inactivity is a tactic that can be used to great effect by the elim team.

Well yeah, I am annoyed at Sart. More so annoyed at how he's yet inactive still.

@Darkness Ascendant Sorry man! I never supported those legends; I think they’re trumped up more than anything else. :P I’ve also been occupied with another game and a busy weekend, so no guarantees to my activity. I can promise that I’ll be around and I’ll try to figure this out, but I don’t have any leads yet. I would've gone for a lynch, but I forgot what MRs are like. I trust Elandera too, but that’s pretty common for me. I didn’t get any PMs :(

That's fair, I'm just poking fun :) I would have messaged you cept I wasn't sure if you'd have responded during the night :P Promise to tonight

Unfortunately, no Pilot ship does enough damage. Largos and MBot are the closest with 4 destructors, meaning 4 damage. Only one action also means they have to work in coordination with someone else for an IMP to be effective.

Gunners, however, can 1-shot a Krell ship, as AA turrets do 10 damage.

I'm not really a fan of the Stick lynch, because it's kind of baseless. DA would be the better target for a lynch based on reaction to not having one last cycle. He was the one really pushing for that.

Also, DA, why not vote on Sart if you're so suspicious?

I'm of half a mind to vote on you, but won't because you are just returning and lynching you now would be unfortunate.

I'll need to give more thought before I vote. I'm just waking up still.

I ask this because @Young Bard told me they could handle a single ship on their own during the night.

I was going to wait until Sart responded to vote on him but that seems unlikely now. However, with the information on Bard I think it may be more useful to vote on him. Bard

@Mailliw73 does that count as something interesting? :P

Good to know, thanks Steel.

 gives a lazy salute.

Well, that means Rivelda is almost for sure not a reb, which substantiates my earlier reasonin’ (‘less you don’t trust me either, ‘cause I’m sayin’ she light lanced me). Lookin’ around, it looks like the votin’ is mainly between Stick and Rivelda, an’ while Stick isn’t my first choice to get the axe, she’s a much better bet than bootin’ somebody I regards as in the clear. ‘Specially since it’s possible some folks are tryin’ to defend their fellow rebs about now.

Joe

Stick

Also, note that this ties things up. I’m not recallin’ what happens when there’s a tie, but I’d ask the folks what want to fire Topsy to reconsider in light of the evidence that I, er, brought to light.

It's a no lynch if it ends in a tie.

@MrakeDarshall I'd say vote on bard as opposed to Joe or Stick, I think he's the most potential eliminator right now seeing as he claimed to be able to destroy an entire krell ship on his own.

Also! I forgot to mention- to the mechanic out there, Poco-1 could do with some repairs.

I don't like the idea of yet another no lynch. It sounds like a really bad idea.

Bard Stick. Sorry Stick.

Vote Count:

Stick (5) - Sart, Ark, Maill, Drake, Elandera
Fura (1) - Young Bard
Sart (1) - StrikerEZ, Fura
Bard (3) - Stick, CadCom, DA
CadCom (1)

Walin (1)

Night 2- Bathing the World in its Light
Steel looked out of a window in the side of Alta base. They weren't letting anybody go home now, everything was on lockdown until the rebels were swept out. He was awaiting the results of an intense debate on who to court martial. Ironsides had attempted to press charges against CadCom, Inbred, and Striker, but no one really suspected Inbred and Striker of being rebels, and CadCom had a sudden medical emergency and had been rushed off to the hospital. He had been replaced by a reserve pilot, Preciousss. Steel had flown with Preciousss a couple times before, and they were pretty reliable.
In the distance, he saw pinpricks in the sky. Krell. Already? Normally they waited longer between assaults. He squinted, and thought he could make out 10 ships. He sighed, and rushed into the room where the pilots were all arguing with each other. "The Krell are coming!" he shouted.
As if on cue, the alarms started going off. "Fine," groaned Bad Wolf. "Let's just kick Stick out and be done with this. Let's go fight some Krell."
Steel barely stopped to watch Stick being dragged off, although she protested she wasn't a traitor. Steel of course didn't have time to dwell on this, as he sprinted to the hangar. Thankfully this time, there wasn't a fight over who got to be in what ship. People usually chose what was familiar, after choosing fairly randomly the first time around.
Steel hoisted himself into his Fresa without the need of a ladder, as he was quite tall. Good old bird had served him well for many years. He fired up the acclivity ring, ran a few checks to make sure they had fixed his shield from last time, and got into the air before even his squadron leader had gotten off the ground. He looped easily out of the hangar doors, pulling off a maneuver that without an acclivity ring would be entirely impossible. Hopefully, this time they could wipe out the 10 fighters that were approaching.
He grinned as he powered up his light-lance for a pass at the lead Krell ship. Man, he was going to miss this. What a rush.

Doomslug was unable to find what she was looking for. Where was it? Where could it be? Should she ever have left in the first place? Doomslug fluted, hoping that perhaps a friend would know where it was. Instead, Doomslug was nearly terrified out of her wits by an unusual ship zipping by overhead. Doomslug had never seen anything like it before. She wondered if perhaps it had what she was looking for. Her journey could not end until she found it.

Welcome Lum! Anythoughts? I have none, so I need some help.

Oh wait, I don't have none... M-Bot is here!!!

After 1 night? so Devotary is the SK? That would be fitting honestly, as She always gets killed right away, so this would give her a chance to... Not immediately die?

Or is Stick the SK?... Off to reread the rules I go. Nope, the SK has to submit a request for M-Bot, which would be done during the day. So it has to be Devotary right?

Oops, this isn't RP. Oh well.

Wow you guys really did it hey.

At least now I'm for sure considering Sart to be an Eliminator. And I do believe Bard pretty much confirmed himself to be Elim to me.

Query- we can target M-bot and destroy it potentially correct? Will destroying it kill the SK as well?

Posted

Wait, im confused... According to the rules, the traitor has to be lynched to gain the SK wincon, but Sart was Just lynched... Unless they requested M-bot during the day, but... I don't really understand.

@Steeldancer does the SK know they are the traitor when the game starts?

They are informed of their capability of being the Traitor, and how activating M-Bot works at the beginning of the game.
